biggest superteam flop of all-time
honorable mention goes to the 03-04 lakers. i wonder what the common denominator is with those 2 teams?:childplease:
Getting into the finals is definitely a flop breh, let's just ignore injuries on both those squads and pretend they all played 82 games. Even the Dwight/Kobe lakers had the best record 2nd half in the league when healthy.

How he considers "honorable mention" for the 2004 Lakers, who had 2 past their prime players in Payton & Malone to pair with Shaq & Kobe, but doesn't consider the 2011 Miami Heat (who had 3 HOFers all in their prime, including 2 of the Top 5 players in the NBA plus a Top 10 player as the "3rd wheel") who LOST to the Mavs who only had 1 player (Dirk) is definitely :snoop: status. The biggest super team flop is the 2011 Miami Heat.

Each year it's a different roster:dahell:

The 2011 Miami Heat are the biggest super team flop. The 2004 Lakers & 2012 Lakers both suffered injuries (Malone in 2004 & Kobe in 2012) that hindered them...the 2011 Heat were completely healthy and their entire Big 3 was in their primes.

so we're gonna act like the core of that superteam wasn't the exact same for the 2012 and 2013 championships?:stopitslime:

you're smarter than this

Again...what does any year outside of the team/roster I'm referring to matter:dahell:

We are talking about the 2011 Miami Heat team:ufdup:

According to your logic, the 1989 Bulls are the same as the 91, 92, & 93 Bulls because they had the same core also:usure:

That makes 0 sense:comeon:

no one will remember that 2011 Miami Heat superteam as being a flop because of what they did the following 2 years. everyone will remember the shaq/kobe/payton/malone lakers as a flop along with the kobe/dwight/nash/pau squad

deal with it:manny:

10 finals in a row for someone who got burned out after 3? :mjlol:

LIKE I SAID KOBE NEVER BURNED OUT, THE TEAM DID FROM HAVIN TO FACE STIFF COMPETITON YEAR AFTER YEAR OUT WEST.. MEANWHILE, YOUR KING WAS HAVIN CAKEWALKS TO THE FINALS ON A CONSISTENT BASIS. IF U COMPARE 50 WIN TEAMS KOBE WENT THROUGH TO 50 WIN TEAMS LEBRON WENT THROUGH, ITS LAUGHABLE

Sad that fans of a player can't simply enjoy that player instead of having to tear down another to help their self esteem.
