Sounds like he's ready to go. Been saying that since the beginning of the season. This is the real Kobe. Finally sounds like he's come to terms with his retirement and legacy. Him actually having a good chat with Simers is proof. This wouldn't have happened 5 years ago.

2014 gonna be a sad year for us Laker fans. Not that 2013 isn't, but this is for other reasons. :sadcam:

There probably isn't much need to worry.

Does this really look like the face of someone who knows when to stop?

Well if that is your definition of under-appreciated then every NBA player in the league has been under-appreciated since Mike won his first title in 91. Same shyt happened with Shaq. Same shyt happening now with Bron. nikkas even bring Mike up for no reason in other sports.

Bron's is probably the most extreme case of under-appreciation. He's a shoe in for a double double a night and almost averages a triple double. 27,8,8 a night and we don't care. :smh:

The most gifted to ever play this game. Redefines phenom.

Its sad that people are unwilling to recognize what a special player he is. Once in a lifetime without a doubt.

:dwillhuh: Whos unwilling to recognize what a special player kobe is? He has more dikkriders right now than any other athlete since the inception of sports.
I count at least 40 coli posters with him in their avi. Who else even has 5?

Only 6 players in this current nba are averaging more points than wizards jordan.Only kevin durants 52 points is more than the 51 jordan dropped at age 39

Kobe needs to worry about how the lakers are on pace to have a worst record than jordans wizards

I disagree regarding Shaq, but yes you are right and it doesnt take away from what I said about Kobe being under-appreciated.

No. The reason most people don't care is cause his game is BORING compared to Kobe and Mike. Sorry to say the truth but I'd rather watch someone average 35ppg on an array of mid-range and slashing plays to the hoop than 27/8/8.

Its the same reason I'd rather watch RGIII or Vick in his prime than Peyton Manning or Tom Brady. Its also the reason no one cares about Tim Duncan but everyone wanted to watch Shaq play.

he also has more haters than anyone.....that is the problem

Kobe is the MJ of our generation and outside racist whites, he's universally loved.

But surely no one would ever argue

Shaq > Duncan

RG3/Vick > Brady/Manning

Kobe has only had one season with 35ppg. Every other year he puts up the same scoring totals as LeBron by taking a lot more shots.

:dwillhuh: So let me get this straight. You are saying that Kobe's game which is based on precision and shooting and footwork and to a lesser degree athleticism (especially now) is comparable to RGIII and Vick and Bron's game which is based upon freakish athleticism and tremendous natural instincts is comparable to Manning and Brady? :usure: You are really saying this? Like seriously this is your basis? :deadrose:

That was one of the poorer comparisons that I've seen. I just don't understand why cats see the need to jump through hoops. Just call it what it is...you like Kobe more. That's fine. There is nothing wrong with that. No need to try to create a flimsy argument to support your stance.
