If Kobe wants to play the veteran card and say he doesn't have to give a grueling effort on both sides of the ball anymore, that's fine. I don't know if he's afraid of getting schooled/posterized or if he's just too tired and lazy to try on the defensive side anymore but that's where the Lakers are getting beat and he doesn't seem at all interested in changing that. He allows dribble penetration all game long, the back door is always wide open for cuts, and all he does is throw his hands up in the air like everyone else around him fukked up.

He's garbage. He'll get all defense against this year though because no one will have any memories of Kobe getting crossed over or dunked on since he'll be 30 feet away from the ball at all times. He'll keep living off that reputation of being a shut down defender, a reputation he never really even deserved in his prime.

In this offense, there needs to be more ball movement.Kobe was 12-27 last night and played bad defense like the rest of the team, Pau is garbage, Dwight can't shoot free throws, it will hurt them in games that are close. The Lakers might not make the playoffs. They Behind them is Dallas, who will have Dirk back, Blazers will have Aldridge back. Denver will get better. LA has played 12 of 17 games at home, they are due for a long road trip. It's not looking good right now.

you looked up stats and formed a conclusion...

the only reason you even brought up ball movement is because is you saw Kobe shot 27 shots not realizing about 6-7 of those shots came in garbage "bail us out" time...Kobe has been a facillitator for a gretater part of the season yet you trying play the whole "he need to move the ball around more" cause you look stats, and dont watch the games...
