threads like this is why Jordan has been bad for NBA history.

You have an insane video making a case for 69>81. Just like some how 6 championships>11 championships. 5 MVPs>6 MVPs, etc.

Its beyond bizarre that Jordan's achievements are slowly becoming the standard despite the fact that many others achieved more in those same things people are comparing.

Are we just talking about what's better because of points or the totality of each game, the competition each player faced, and the team each player faced.

Jordan's game was better. You can't tell these cats that though cuz all they gone hit u with is Kobe scored more but look who they was playing. Jordan was facing the mighty Celtics that proly went on to win the title or at least play for it with a team full of Hall of Famers. While that Raptor team was basically an expansion type team with an very good Chris Bosh as their centerpiece. And it's also a reason that Wilt and Kobe and all the other great players have never approached 69. Because he defense gets a lot harder and the calls are not as favorable in the playoffs. U would think Wilt would have this record easily though. But that's how hard it is to score in the postseason.

neither one of these game is impressive because they were both against lottery teams.

Cavs made the 90 playoffs they lost in 5 to the sixers.Raptors were one of the worst teams in the nba in 06

Whats crazy is Jordan had 54 points and 14 rebs against the cavs on opening day and dropped 69 and 18 on em in march of that same season mj use to destroy cleveland

:heh: Who was Kobe up against? LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO Fam, you're talking about a trash ass Toronto team up against the Cavs that could've won the Finals every year from the beginning of the 90's.

Jordan's 69 came in a regular season game against cleveland in 1990. He scored 63 against the celtics in his 2nd year coming off a broken foot
