"No, the only time I took a game off is when I couldn’t walk. The thing about taking games off is your games, your seasons in your career go by really, really, quickly. So, you want to make sure you don’t miss any of those moments. The other part about that is there are kids in the crowd and families in the crowd…. this will be the only time they get a chance to see you. They save up their hard-earned money to watch you perform. So, if you can walk and perform get there and perform."

They could never❕

another great thing about Bean is he never let other players get in his head because he was so focused on winning

Kenyon Martin said that Kobe Bryant was the only player in the league where he couldn't get underneath of their skin.

Kenyon was a fierce competitor but he wasn't ready for the Mamba Mentality

even though I'm a die hard Knicks fan, Kobe been my favorite player since 2003

I would also like to say how the media thought at the time Allen Iverson and Vince Carter were going to carry the torch from Jordan, but Kobe Bean Bryant had other plans.

God bless him and his daughter in heaven, I honestly think she coulda had a chance to make the WNBA

1st off all Kobe was her father so she had the Mamba in her DNA. She was a basketball junkie like her pops and was a good player for her age, she was even continuing to grow in height.

I wish I had the video but my favorite memory of Kobe and Gigi was they were playing a one on one before they passed away.

Anyway she has the ball and he's playing defense and leaning his weight on her. Then she got mad about it and got a Kobe Bryant face, pushed him off with her shoulder and shot a jumper in his face that was nothing but net.

Kobe was the man and we will continue to celebrate him and his daughter.

man, I would LOVE to hear Kobe's analysis on today's game and what young players he likes
