I just came to post that the more I learn about Kobe, the more that realize that we didn’t deserve him. Even his fans/stans took him for granted. This motherfukka was way beyond any other NBA player or present day athlete in general. In the beginning the world forced him on us, and in 2003 the world told us to hate him forever, and a lot of people did. Stupid asses. We were robbed of his true greatness because of all evil reasons, jealousy, hate, ignorance, and downright stupidity. His greatness was muffled from day one, and even at the apex of his NBA career he still was muffled in order to “win” the “right way”. He was a, “maniacal a$$hole” yeah, but only to achieve greatness, not to destroy. I clapped when Marbury spoke on the fake love Kobe received, they hated our niqqa, but they respected our niqqa because they know that they couldn’t fukk with him, and they all were forced to “bow down”, before he died and even more after he died. And IMO he still didn’t get his just due. For all of his NBA achievements, something was always in Kobe’s way of showing his full potential. He was never able to stand alone and live, whether it was the MJ comparisons to the Shaq shyt show to the Achilles injury. Even when he won as #24, “it was only because of “this and that”, a narrative mainly used to diminish his achievements, a narrative that’s mainly reserved for him, and hardly for the other greats. Even in his death, he didn’t stand alone and receive his “just due”, he even sacrificed himself (coaching basketball) in his demise as he tragically died with others, whose lives were also was honored. Over his whole career he got shyt for whatever he did. Even in good times, the cast of negative shadows tried to loom large. We truly didn’t deserve our niqqa Kobe.
