There’ll never be enough words to describe what Kobe meant to me. That’s the hardest part like damn where is the closure if you feel like you’ll never get out every feeling you have about this legend.

this Kobe shyt growing up was a way of life. A culture a religion. When the memorial ended I broke down cuz it was like damn it’s finally over.

Kobe was way more than just an athlete to me. Dude was an inspiration. He was the person you wish you could be but knew you couldn't be cause you lacked his character, determination, and work ethic. He was a real life Batman. A guy with no actual super powers but as great a superhero as there could be. Outside of my close family members he's definitely the most influential person in my life. No other person has commanded my attention for so long. To think he's gone is just too much to handle.

Yeah she impressed me as well. I was shocked when they said she was gonna give a speech. Thought there was zero chance she would even make it through a few minutes. Somehow she gave an amazing eulogy that was probably 20 minutes long. Then you gotta consider how much power she held over Kobe. He never signed a pre-nup. He had the Colorado scandal. She coulda easily divorced him and taken half of everything he owned. If she was just a thot on the comeup she would've done that and had a damn good excuse. Instead she sticked it out, birthed him 4 kids, and seemed destined to grow old together.

Eventhough I was a huge Kobe fan I used to clown him for wifing her. I thought she was just a video thot that he elevated. I was wrong. Shoulda known Kobe was smarter than that. He picked her out at an early age knowing she was the one. He was right and the rest of us were wrong.

I think the camera man must have something against him cause they showed pretty much every other NBA player in attendance. And definitely all the legends. Bizarre that a guy of LeBron's stature got zero face time.
