I hope the reason being isnt over BS and that its just they werent in the mood to do it.

You gotta look at the format of the tribute. It wasn't just for Kobe. It was for Gianna as well. And they had 3 speakers talk about each of them. Diana Taurasi, the chick from Oregon, and Geno talked about Gianna. Rob, MJ, and Shaq talked about Kobe. Vanessa was the only one to talk about both. I'm sure if it was just a tribute to Kobe we would've seen his parents and more people from the NBA. I think the way they formatted it was to treat Kobe and Gianna equally. They had 3 people talking about Gianna's basketball prowess and then 3 people talking bout Kobe.

Guys it takes the team at Staples only like 45 minutes to set up there has been times with up to four events taking place there in the same day

Vanessa was gracious enough to give us two hours

So while we still mourn Kobe we have to go on and honor him

Grief is a motherfukker and this still doesn’t feel real

I truly believe Kobe was going to buy the Lakers one day and that was one of the reasons he had so many great investments including an amazing mutual fund

I think if the Coli got together sand did something like that it would be great
