Michael Jackson death was crazy

I went to my grandma's neighborhood and saw people who shoot people crying like their mama died

that Michael Jackson shyt shifted everything and trailed for months. We’re talking about someone who touched generations of people and re-wrote the book on what being a rock star was. We won’t get anything like him ever again.

When you talk about how much this Kobe situation hurts, being around when MJ died is a reference to how part of that pain feels. When you start re-evaluating yourself as a result of someone you never knew/met, then it’s some real shyt

Kobe's death definitely impacted grown men way more than any other celeb death. Especially in the 20-40 year old age range since we essentially grew up on him.

MJ's death was a bit bigger cuz he had the women/gay demographic. And you know women and gays are more emotional and super outspoken so it seemed more passionate. They do a whole bunch of crying and talking and yelling. Kobe got us straight brehs suffering in silence cuz as men we ain't supposed to be crying too much or at all. Sometimes throughout the day I get down about the shyt and just stay quiet and to myself which I assume is how most brehs are dealing with it.

Same here ..

Cried when the room cleared, cried in the car listening to old audio clips..

About the only time I got caught slipping by my wife and kids was the tribute video at Staples for the first game..

When Kobe said "once upon a time.. "

:mjcry:

I remember MJ
And I can say from my experience more straight dudes cried for this

Man she goin thru it

This is a fukking nightmare

Man this post literally just broke my heart. While we get back to normal and laugh, watch movies, and get on with life in this demonic world as the loss of kobe and gianna slowly lessens in our mind every day (hell look at this thread a week ago like 5 new pages a day etc). We have to remember it doesn't for the family. Losing a child is probably the most painful experience anyone can go through, wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Vanessa is so strong to even write and share that and then to not even be thinking of herself but for others out there who are grieving and dealing with loss, what a strong woman :wow:

MJ's death was a bit bigger.

NAAH MAN

IF U SAW THE LEVEL OF GRIEVING AND COMMEMORATING AROUND LOS ANGELES, U WOULDNT SAY THIS

NOT SAYING MICHAELS DEATH WASNT HUGE, BUT I WAS ABLE TO BUY A TIME MAGAZINE ABOUT HIS DEATH THE DAY IT DROPPED...

I HAD TO HUNT THE KOBE COMMEMORATIVE TIME MAGAZINE FOR WEEKS, IT WAS SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE WITHIN MINUTES, AT MULTIPLE NEWSTANDS....

I FINALLY GOT ONE ON FRIDAY BUT I HAD TO ARRIVE AT THE NEWSSTAND THE MOMENT THE SHIPMENT CAME IN, AND THERE WAS A LINE CIRCLING THE BLOCK... 2 WEEKS AFTER HIS DEATH

The Gay part you mentioned was bullshyt. LGBT liberals are one of the main groups slandering him in death. They've always been MJ haters

How tall was Gigi?

I don't think she was that tall yet. But her arms were super long so you know she was gonna hit a growth spurt soon. Her older sister Natalia is 5'11" at 17 years old. Pretty good chance GiGi was gonna be around that height. Maybe taller at 6'0".
