Kobe, you ripped my soul out when you threw that alley oop to shaq in game 7 vs portland. I wanted my GOAT Pippen, to get a ring without Jordan, but it wasnt meant to be.

You were more than just basketball, though. You made big strides. I will always respect you for what you did on and off the court. You and I are almost the same age. You got me by about 8 to 10 months, so you leavin' earth so soon hits close to me. Eternal In Peace, big homie and Gigi.

It didn't have that tech, no, but it wouldn't have mattered in this situatuon either according to numerous aviation experts. I fukked myself up going down the rabbit hole at work all last week watching aviation videos, visiting aviation/helicopter reddits/forums and even watching instrument rated pilots fly into fog and lose visual just to see how it felt. Unfortunately, just gotta let it go. It's not gonna bring him (or them) back.
I did the same shyt, I done watched numerous videos about spacial disorientation and I'm pretty sure once the pilot went into the fog he became disoriented.

It's a YouTube video with a couple just married and live video from inside a chopper, pilot got disoriented and crashed it.

Was on the train this morning and the train doors opened to a new stand racked with Kobe mags. This shyt is still unreal to me. He wasnt my favorite basketball player but was my go to example of relentlessness and hard work. He embodied it. Go hard or don’t go at all. This niqqa didn’t live in a gray area. I always had the upmost respect for that, even as him being a younger cat to me. Kobe is the type that makes you look back at your own life and wonder if you applied his drive to certain segments in your life...where would you be? What would have been your outcome other than successful? That’s why this is bothersome. Dude was a life example. That focus man.....:whew:

Since Kobe’s passing, I’ve been playing Coltrane’s “Wise One” something heavy. Reminds me of him...

I had to slow down on the reps in here breh

I owe you man :wow:

When the investigation concludes within a year to 18 months at least our questions will be answered then

I really don’t care what caused the helicopter crash anymore. I’d rather just focus on the lives lost and making sure they are remembered .

Nothing can bring them back I just hope when the investigation is concluded that it leads to more safety additions on helicopters etc., kind of like how John Walsh son Adam was killed it led to code Adam at malls and stores that basically lock down the mall same with amber alerts etc.

I’ve been thinking about death like so much these past few weeks, it’s out there and coming for us all at one point. We just never know, I’m heading out to Popeyes right now for all I know i may not come back home not in some oh crap let me stay locked up in a bubble just in terms of nothing is guaranteed brehs. Just living every day and every moment like it’s my last .

Thats true, but I think it’s also important to remember that flying in a helicopter is a very dangerous form of transportation. 30x more likely to die in helicopter crash (per mile traveled) than car crash, same rate as motorcycles. So while it was a sudden and very tragic accident, the average person isn’t exposed to that risk. RIP Kobe

low key thats the first time i heard vanessa talk

Kobe was like our "truman show" we saw everything

If I’m not mistaken she herself is from Orange County. She got that Cali girl voice and it reminds me of Kim K

and didn’t Kanye meet Kim on a Brandy video too...and Kobe took Brandy to the prom

Man I tell you even though it’s the celeb world and they run into each other often, life can be so crazy and ironic sometimes
