The first time I thought Kobe was the best basketball player of all-time was when he dropped 42 points in the first half against Jordan's Wizards. That performance just blew my mind. You gotta remember back in 2003 teams weren't scoring a lot. And 40+ point games were rare. So for a guy to score 40+ in the first half just seemed impossible.

I was a Jordan fan when I started watching basketball. I always viewed him as the GOAT. That night was the first time it crossed my mind that I might be watching someone better than the great Michael Jordan.

Everyone is keeping it real, so will I. During his career the only time I didn't like Kobe was early on because of the MJ comparison when I feel he didn't deserve them. But as time went on he showed he could do it solo and win chips his way. It was only after his career that I looked at him different when comparing against that guy from Akron. Everyone has there preference and he became preferred but kobe is definitely one of the goats.

Recently I've been seeing alot of old Kobe magazines re sellling for alot. I've have a few amongst my collection of bball mags. I'm not hurting for money but is it wrong if I sell them. $100 for a magazine that I hardly looked at again is crazy.
