yep. For my generation it was "Jordan!" when hoopin with the brehs...then it became "Kobe" for that next generation. That's true icon status. R.I.P.
Bruh one of the things I say always is that he was amazing for life lessons. Not just saying this shyt cause he passed. My GF used to complain about men hitting on her and I told her they were just shooting their shot. You cant make a shot if you dont take, and Kobe would take any shot if it meant he could put his team in a position to win.

Course my girlfriend gets annoyed whenever I bring him up, but fear of failure was never in him. He would shoot 40 and take all the criticism in stride cause he knew when nobody else could carry the load, it wasnt over until it was over to him. In life, you study, you work on your craft, you cultivate relationships, you push to know everything but never assume you’ve learned enough. Most importantly, you keep fukking shooting. You dont chuck, you work to be better, and you keep shooting.

Imagine finding out family death on social media :mjcry:

Fukk TMZ and Silver should cancel the games

TMZ reported news. What would you want them to do not say anything after finding out?

Kobe died heading to a basketball game he wouldn't want them to cancel anything. All the fans are in those arenas honoring his legacy.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
That's one of the things that gets me. He'd helicoptered around SoCal to get around, even during the prime of his career, so he could avoid LA traffic and put in more time where he needed to be whether it was at Staples or at home.

And the reaction was always "I don't blame him, I'd do it too." The dangers and risks were very rarely ever brought up.
