I'm surprised Demar suited up. He idolized Kobe. Grew up in LA, wore Kobe's on the court, and might've had a friendship with him. Tough to see him going through it.

They retired both his numbers recently. Nobody coulda predicted something like this would happen. He was 41. Everyone thought they'd have decades left to continue to give Kobe more and more praise.

I guess but shaq got a statue mad early Kobe is a life long laker they need to name the court after him or something .....when they do unveil the statue it won’t have the same impact

I don't even fukk with nba anymore now cos it's hard to keep up with in the UK but during my teen years I tried my best to watch lakers and kobe play whenever I could find a stream.

I'll never forget watching that 81 point game live, so glad to have witnessed that moment.. One of the greatest in sport.
