David Lee is second in scoring among all power forwards. He's second in rebounding among all power forwards. He's 1st in assists among all power forwards. He's sixth in field goal percentage among all power forwards. Meanwhile everybody thinks the Knicks will be worse when Amare comes back......so yeah close the thread.
You Really Expose Yourself When All You Do Is Spew "So And So Is 5th In This, And 4th In That, And So And So Is 3rd In Assists Among Guys Who Wear The Number 10"
I Like David Lee But Keeping Him Here Would Have Been A Disaster, Bottomline
Yeah because the Amare thing is working out so well. See what happens to your winning he comes back.

sure, naturally, theres gonna be an adjustment period when amare comes back. especially considering that this is a whole new team that he never played with before.
the 2nd statement is neither here nor there. most of those people that feel that way are people that dont really know ball and are just following whatever espn says. and espn is just fishing for a story. these are the same people that wanted carmelo gone and thought that the knicks were better without him as well. lets not forget.
when its crunch time and teams start clamping down, david lee isnt a viable 1b or #2 guy to take the pressure off melo.
Offensively what can Amare do that Lee can't?
harder to guard. Who's Lee beating off the dribble?
I think we're better off with Amare even though he is not currently playing. Lee was too soft and he wouldnt mess with Melo imo.
You can't be a top 5 rebounder in the league and be soft.
