Nuclear weapons have kept the peace despite the U.S thirst for war. Korea, Vietnam, CIA engineered Civil Wars in South America, Africa, Asia 70s-90s, Iran, Afghanistan etc.

China’s median income is below 15k which is 2x lower than America’s poverty line which is 31k.

NATO was formed to protect against the USSR. USSR was disbanded in 1990.

Both Gorbachev and Putin had proposed the idea of Russia joining NATO.

Expansion of NATO is what has been driving tensions between US and Russia. Russia rightfully fears NATO expansion on its border especially since The West had promised they wouldn’t expand NATO back in the 90s.

I don’t know why y’all act like Russia is being irrational in this situation. The US would do the same. Hell, The US is still holding a grudge against a tiny island nation which poses absolutely no threat to its existence.

I'm neither US or Chinese citizen and I'm not interested in moving to either country. I don't care what either country do to their own citizens, just what they do to other countries. US had supported coups and massacres in numerous countries and invaded several other in a crusade to spread "democracy" compared to that China and Russia having beef with their neighbors over territory is pretty understandable.
