I personally don't care if the game looks childish. Why is that a bad thing? Who says you can't be a full-grown adult and enjoy child-like things? I for one think everything looks cooler than ever, if that makes me look weird, so be it. :manny: I'd much rather worry about my own personal level of enjoyment over what an adult "should" and "shouldn't" find enjoyable. Life is too short. Moving on...

I like the new theme for 3. It's either going to be remixed, or the song hasn't picked up the tempo from what we heard. And I think given the footage in the trailer we saw, it fits the tone. It's supposed to be the end of a saga, so it kinda gives off the vibe of wrapping all these loose ends up. I think the full song will hopefully be what we all are looking for and if not, maybe the in-game version will be upbeat. They just did a Simple and Clean -Ray of Hope- Remix for 2.8, and that was really catchy and upbeat, so I guess we'll just have to see. I think this also may make a LOT of sense when we finally see the opening video.

In terms of Riku, I'm thinking that it's going to be either Riku Replica, or a common theory I'm seeing around is, himself from the past. They're in the Realm of Darkness, presumably on their mission for rescuing Aqua. Maybe something odd happened, because Keyblades don't just break like that. The only other time a Keyblade broke was back in the KH2 Birth By Sleep secret ending video where Ven was frozen, got tossed off a cliff, and part of his Keyblade broke because of it hitting a ledge on the way down. But in the actual game, that never happens, his Keyblade is fine. So some weird stuff is happening. He doesn't seem all that concerned, so he must already have a different Keyblade to use. And the lack of Aqua in the video, I wonder, maybe this is before they see her? Or she's just off-screen? Idunno man lol.

Xenahort has Terra’s “body” and Lingering will has Terra’s “thoughts and emotions.”

His heart location is the mystery and there is the possibility of it residing in Riku

Yeah, his heart is the thing we don't really know the location of at the moment. I'm not entirely sure if it would go to Riku, but he DID do the Keyblade Ceremony on Riku, and they're similar in a lot of ways... It's not impossible. You also gotta wonder where Eraqus's heart is, too. Terra for sure has to be addressed at some point before KH3 ends though, cause he'd be the only one missing out of the trio, and they're definitely not gonna leave that unresolved.

Xehanort doesn't have Terras body though. Old man Xehanort is back not Terranort

Wherever Terra is he's in his own body.

A "past Riku" also doesn't make sense as Riku can't time travel. You have to cast aside your heart to be able to time travel. Riku never lost his heart.

As far as Riku not being bummed about his keyblade breaking he knows Mickey has a second one he will lend him if he really needs it and he might just feel like hes fine without it.

He has the power of darkness he mastered and made his own at the end of DDD to rely on, He proved he is worthy of the keyblade by becoming a true keyblade master, and can still call soul eater whenever he wants. He really doesn't need the keyblade and he no longer ties his worth to it so it's not to surprising he isn't terribly broken up over this.

I do agree that something big had to happen to cause his keyblade to break. Keyblades don't just break.

Which is why personally when I first saw the trailer, and what most people are going for, is Replica Riku. Riku doesn't have a Nobody, since he never became a Heartless. So it can't be a Nobody. And the time travel is complicated because as far as we know, when would Riku even learn how to do that? And most importantly, why? Since his mission right now is to rescue Aqua, I don't know why he would want to go into the past, that's what I never understood about that theory in particular.

You're right, Old Man Xehanort is back, because when Sora was taken hostage, he was there. But wait, if that's the case... Why didn't he come back as Terra-Xehanort? Both Xemnas and Ansem were based off of him, not Old Man Xehanort. If this is true, then I guess Terra might have his heart back? But now I'm wondering where Terra would even be.

I feel like Riku may still get another Keyblade, but that's a good point. Man, I just wonder what happened though, because that definitely isn't normal.

That's the question we been asking ever since DDD came out. We don't know.

0.2 only further proves Terra and Master Xehanort was having internal struggles in the Terranort body. So with old man Xehanort back and not Terranort something happened in-between Sora defeating Ansem and Xemnas and Master Xehanort being reborned.

Riku replica makes the most sense but why on earth would he of all ppl be in the dark realm?? You can’t just stroll up in there lol

Between this and Marluxia coming back I’m glad they touching on chain of memories events again. That’s why I fukk with Nomura. He’s very unapologetic when he writes this series with the notion that the fans knows the story in and out. If all you played was 1 and 2 you gonna be lost as fukk going into 3 lmaooooo.

Going off the snippet, Utada can do better than that for a theme song. Full song better be hittin:stopitslime:

My thoughts exactly the song was trash......

^^this^^ One thing I hated about Kingdom Hearts 2 was it sucked ALL the fun out of the series and made it all dark and gloomy. Kingdom Hearts 3 looks to bring that Disney magic, fun and appeal back into the series.

Maybe during the period of Sora taking out both Ansem and Xemnas, and Master Xehanort being rejoined, an opportunity opened up for Terra to gain an advantage and broke free or somehow overpowered him. In 0.2, we know that the reason why Xemnas knows about Castle Oblivion is because Aqua told Terra, and Xehanort overheard it. Soon as that happens, Terra gets turned into Terra-Xehanort. It's possible that a weakened Terra-Xehanort makes all the difference. It's hard to say.

See this is where Castle Oblivion fukkery is gonna have to be brought up again, because he shouldn't be around. And it's weird that he'd be back after all this time. But Marluxia is back, in his Nobody form, and something about Marluxia and his "the only organization" comment makes me wonder if he's in the dark with Xehanort's true plans or not. I'm not sure what this could mean, but... it's off. So Castle Oblivion has to be explained, and maybe that'll explain why Replica Riku is running around in the darkness, if that is who Riku is talking about.

Exactly lol, I personally love it this way. It makes you motivated to play the games and pay attention to detail. The dedication brings the fandom together. Not only that, but I think if we just sat on our thumbs and waited for 3, all that time would've been wasted where he could've told a great story and set the stage in that time. So I'm grateful for all the side games, that's more Kingdom Hearts for me to enjoy!

I'm mad.

I'm glad utada came came back for the theme but it don't have that soul the old ones used to.

:comeon:And still no release date.

Nomura made FOUR fukking final fantasy games before KH3. Instead of getting the people what they want. Got folks waiting like it's the detox album. I swear to almighty God if FF7 comes out before KH3 I will fly to Japan and slap nomura with toilet seat from a Louisiana gas station.

:pacspit: fukk this nikka.
The song is nice imo.

The song is amazing honestly. I don't get the complaints. First off as someone already said they are most likely gonna remix it for the opening anyway. But you can just tell this song as is will fit 100% perfectly as those credits role

As i said before this is the ending of a 15 yr story arc. Not everyone is gonna have a happy ending. And the ones that do are going to go through hell to get there. The theme song being less up beat then the other 2 makes perfect sense.
