Based on his mannerisms and even his tone when speaking the manager didn't seem like a street dude. Sounded like he wanted to dodge criticism that he and his team is getting for what happened. He echoed some of the same points people been saying about being aware or your surroundings and being on point. He said a lot to say, Von was on some other shyt and everything happened so fast that nobody could have saved him. That's what I got out of it.
Managing acts as volatile as Von had to be stressful. I'll just say you know they into, so you have to be thinking hella steps ahead
