King of New York is a better movie than Scarface

I've said it for years that Scarface is an awful movie but rappers loved it so much for the come up aspect of it that they held it in high regard and it became a cult classic. A whole bunch of white guys pretending to be Cuban gangsters with horrible accents

Maybe a bad film, but its entertaining as fukk, and SO over the top. It deserves its following.

man, scarface is a quality film with yes errors ie accents and bit of acting here and there..but the film was presented in a good "pop" in terms of culture and narrative!

king of new york was low budget and more dark, had its moments but nothing spectacular!

Abel ferrara is dope and was influenced from black and white universal monster movies..

King of New York is better in film making, screenplay, the pacing of the movie, and all of that.

Scarface is just long and after really after seeing it once it becomes a task to watch the whole movie.

I think the last time I saw Scarface from start to finish was like back in 2005.

I use to like van damme movies but if you go back and watch them now you see how terrible they are except lionhart not because of age of movie its just you were too young to realize it was garbage
