@ a tad. Black Thought is an unbelievable human being rapper…Los a damn alien, clearly. Different levels, imho of course. Los >>>> Lux, imo, this freestyle was otherworldly on so many different levels…beyond the bars.The personality, the unlimited amounts of flows and cadences, the energy, the delivery, etc… He’s like a great battle rapper who you can tell has spent years and years and years making actual songs and going thru that process as well…that’s a scary ass combination, he got all the tools, pause.

He’s amazing…he’s not Los tho, imo. Thought was rapping…for a long ass time…great raps too. Los was doing magic with words man, shhit is different. Shhit madd layered but so dope just on some rapping shytt that even if you missed the magical wordplay it still sounds fire lol. Thought special tho, don’t mean no disrespect.

I think what's held him back away from Puff, is not being able to turn this into making actual songs. A lot of the really dope freestylers can't make structured music. He dropped a few projects years ago, but they don’t really hit. He was ghostwriting for other people, but when it comes to his own songs, that's when things always get tricky with him. It's mad weird.

it's not weird. Some people are soloists, others can arrange or comp well. He's far more of the former than the latter. Putting him above Thought is fukking reckless chat, though. He doesn't have even a bit of the discography that would entertain the discussion.
