Its a terrible stoppage, boxing is about not quitting. No giving up and keeping on fighting every round.
He never showed he was incapable of defending himself, so no need to stop.
That said mentally Andre hasn't wanted to go life and death since the AA fight and the brain bruising.
Hang it up and enjoy life, he and his brother should have the money to live well now.

Not quitting is what puts people on the HOV lane to speaking a foreign language that only the punch drunk victim understands. He wasn't exactly defending himself either. It was coming whether this round or next.

Can’t blame the trainer. If anything you have to blame the matchmaking. Dirrell is not built for a gritty/grimey type of fight. It’s just not a good fight for a guy like him.

Imagine if you could combine the Dirrell brothers into one fighter. These guys are like the complete opposite.
