When people say "when there's smoke there's fire" that means its sum shyt goin underneath the surface which means she thinks there's truth to it....she's saying in general all rappers have help with writing but what's with the "where there's smoke there's fire" shyt? Makes it sound like she's sayin there's more to it than just help all rappers get in this instance....hard to have patience for anybody to lean towards that rather then lean in the opposite direction sayings its NOT likely.....and I looked it up looks like in her book she did say she slept with Nas and 50cent...quickest way to fuk up your credibility and make u seem bias....and stop pawnin these hos off az Hov stans cuz Nas fuked with the wrong women or mad em mad....wouldn't be the first time he fuked up

Seriously, it's not even about stanning at this point, it's about 20 years of one of the MOST RESPECTED AND IMPORTANT LYRICISTS that Hip Hop has ever seen having his legacy and reputation tarnished by a bytch with ZERO proof to back up her claims. Untitled as an album was one of the most politically charged, creative, and daring albums of the 2000's. A lot of research, time, and care went into that album. To say that the man who wrote that album used GHOSTWRITTEN LYRICS to craft it IS MOST CERTAINLY a big deal. It takes away from damn near everything Nas is praised for and as a "journalist" with a responsibility towards the public any such serious allegations that she puts out there should be backed by evidence. And when the respective artists in question who supposedly did the writing called her claims bogus she STILL refuses to rescind her claims, which makes no sense whatsoever....

even if dream can't get a hold of material evidence, if she really wants to be a serious truth teller in this regard she should at least explain her side of the story fully and consistently

the fact that her original blog post was

a) in response to a completely unrelated discussion about jay
b) filled with nas disses (nas lost, fukkin mathematical formula for dissapointment at nas albums, a lot more I'm sure but I skimmed most of that shyt)

because they are false accusations. sticman did not write sly fox for nas and then call nas and say "i got this refernce joint for you, come spit the verses over". nas called sticman and told him about the concept, they went over ideas back and forth and nas penned the verses himself(there's even some classic nas mixups in his verses on sly fox)... nas picked the beat and stic wrote the hook. that is not ghost writing. if it is, than large professor ghost wrote illmatic, because helped nas decide what to leave in and out.
