LAPD to reopen probe into fugitive ex-cop's firing - Yahoo! News

BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. (AP) — Los Angeles police say they will reopen the disciplinary proceedings that led to the firing of a former officer who's wanted in three killings over the past several days.
Cmdr. Andrew Smith said Saturday that the department will reopen the investigation that apparently has led Christopher Dorner to seek revenge against former LAPD colleagues who he believed cost him his law enforcement career.
Dorner alleged in an online manifesto that he was wrongly fired for reporting that his training officer used excessive force.
Police Chief Charlie Beck tells KCBS-TV the department will thoroughly re-examine Dorner's allegation to ensure the public that the LAPD is fair and transparent. He says if Dorner wants to surrender, the LAPD will "be happy to hear what he has to say."

It's unbelievable how racist and corrupt the U.S is.. STILL to this day.

All of this freedom talk, technology to the sky, convenience... yet on the other hand still all of that horse manure.......what a contrast!

I'm from Toronto where racism still exists, especially in regards to the police.

"In each of the city’s 74 police patrol zones, the Star analysis shows that blacks were documented at significantly higher rates than their overall census population by zone, and that in many zones, the same holds true for “brown” people — mainly people of South Asian, Arab and West Asian backgrounds"

I never said it didn't exist, it's nowhere even close to being as bad as a place like NY or L.A, cop wise.

I can agree with that.

However, I would also like to point out even if were "better" than America that's not much to brag about. We should strive to eliminate racism, corruption etc instead of just accepting were better than other countries.

But again I get what your saying :manny: and I do agree there is more racism in regards to the police in America.

Bravo has been relieved of duty with pay in connection with the criminal probe.

This isn't the first time that the hiring of an applicant with ties to a top sheriff's official has drawn scrutiny. Last year, The Times reported that the son of the undersheriff's secretary was hired as a security guard despite a history of theft, dishonesty, liaisons with prostitutes and as many as 100 domestic violence incidents. When he applied for the job, he was still on probation for punching a man unconscious.
