So you're saying the two albums produced exclusively by DJ Wool are somehow better than the bland Behind The Stained Glass from the yer before? I think it's a safe assumption that they're continuations of it. Wool didnt exactly set the world on fire on the offering either.

I could be wrong. But priesthood & Masada both flat out suck. Black August was half good.

^^^Priesthood is still my favorite Priest album. Not his most consistent production(The Offering probably) but it impacted me the most since Heavy Mental(never liked a handful of the beats).

PWOWR is crazy. Definitely one of his most consistent albums as far as production goes.

Wow. That's a weird preference. Yikes. Wasn't George Clinton on that album?

Yeah. :merchant: Why is that a bad thing? Priesthood is a solid album. Plenty of quality material on there.

If you don't feel it thats your business I suppose but its far from a consensus that priesthood's a crappy album :manny:

Listened to this 3x through so far..shyts crazy...its been a full day so obviously i cant REALISTICALLY rank it..

For me though right now. my Priest lineup is something like:

Priesthood
The Offering
Heavy Mental
PWOWR
View From Masada
Black August
Behind The Stained Glass

cant say i listened to any of the other ones he's released.

That production is so generic. Listen to those flimsy drums.

we're talking about drums in a thread about one of the greatest spitters of all time? one known for not having the best beats anyway? :ohhh:

even said its not his most consistent production, but that material has stuck with me the most. I still rank that album above Heavy Mental.

I rank Sunz of Man's first album above it too. Some of the production on HM just wasnt for me. Classic lyrics though and thats why i love the album.

LOL...I thought I was the only one that liked Priesthood. I am a KP stan though:yeshrug:

:win:

Priesthood is what made me a Stan. I had already become a huge fan from The Last Shall Be First and Heavy Mental, View From Masada, as well as the features on Beneath the Surface.

But joints like Madness or Come With Me :whoo:

ima be listening to these songs when i'm :old:

I assume the other three I haven't heard are duds too.

:whew: this mans ignorance is strong

the priest will pray for you my fallen son.

"It was smoky, The chief spoke ghostly, His eyes were stoney, The sky was snowy, The vibe was cozy, the tribes watch closely" :wow:

To give you vision

one of my favorite lines. you can literally visualize the temples when he says this.

and the tribes DO watch closely. this is the man who's fingertips turned to feathers though. let us not forget.

See what Im saying

brother I see and I hear you loud and clear.

gza doesn't touch on the subjects that priest does. I prefer the black market album over any GZA LP except liquid swords.

and for the record I prefer rakim but KRS does have the better discography

that "Aztechnical" record from summer 2012 was :ohlawd: :ohlawd:

I actually wanted KRS to hop on wubian nation after raekwon said "this that KRS sh!t"

:wow: @ that track though

So you're saying I could be wrong.

hands down priesthood is a classic. there is no other way around it.

people say the same thing about nasir and his beats. I don't hear those people.

I can see why you like priesthood over mental though. I prefer heavy.

Yeah. :merchant: Why is that a bad thing? Priesthood is a solid album. Plenty of quality material on there.

like I stated above its a classic. then again we are talking about "building on a higher plane like pyramids too mysterious for the human mind to explain.."

LOL...I thought I was the only one that liked Priesthood. I am a KP stan though:yeshrug:

killah priest doesn't have stans. he has devoted followers my friend.

don't let these mortals lump you up with the heathens below us. we have elevated to a new plateau.

MC Metaphysical holdin down the Killah Priest fanbase :wow:

I appreciate it.

I am as serious as the dead sea scrolls when I say I'm going to purchase this album once a month for forever.

there is no other way to support this annunaki spoken opus.

if I was extremely well off financially I would just paypal this man $144,000.00.

this what I survived sandy and 2012 for.
