damn, this album plays like a best of. he in rare form on this, sounds like he truly mastered his style. i never thought he would be able to touch what he did on Heavy Mental but it looks like lightning has struck for the second time. And thats not to say his other projects dont have good tracks either, but this album right here, seriously, if you took all the best KP tracks of all his albums and put em together it would sound like this album. and 40 songs, damn. thank you Priest

I was listening to disc one today at school and thought I was fucing levitating brehs. The only AVERAGE song on that disc was Super God. Everything was straight flames

Bout to dig in disc 2 in a few

LOL!!!! I said this earlier to my brother.

"if u jus lay in bed and listen to this in headphone u might realize your floating"

I will need that 320 at one point though

I realized the two songs that weren't properly mastered was the joint wif gost/deck and like the 3rd or 4th song on the 2nd cd. I could careless I will be ripping the CD soon enough.

I don't kno the highest bitrate possible but this sh*t needs more than 720 :leon:

Both discs are like the symbiote of Venom and using my cd player as its host. The only thing I see prying PWOWR from my current playlist is Ghost's (12RTD) new joint but that's not until April.

My brain activity is like this right now

that metaphor is really great. this album just consumes you but unlike eddie brock this CD is the anti-venom.

and yea the only thing removing this from my playlist is ghost.....face... killaaaaaaaaaah

There's 17 pages full of people saying they dreamed about meeting God and wanting to be a better man and giving all their money and toys to third world countries, that might be your answer b.

I negged him the first time he asked :youngsabo:

been listening to this all weekend

all I can say is THANK YOU Killah Priest

this sh-t goes hard! straight fire for 40 tracks. Unheard of

yeah I can't ever remember having this many classics on a retail. usually its a bootleg and your adding songs/deleting. I'm in shock and awe.

Can you remember which track that was?
Didn't catch that in the spins I gave it. Can't really blame me, it's 41 tracks

its the "reality" track on cd 1.

he says it after this

"my heart is the shape of africa, my brain is the color lavendar.." :wow:

Dayam.

I'm somewhere near the beginning of disc 2 but I'm in agreement that so far the only average song is Super God

I've been bumpinnn Killah Priest all week before this shyt too.

yeah priest and wu stay in my playlists but ill be damned if I said I didn't love "super god"

I gave it 3 plays in a row at lunch, I felt like spiderman about to swing through the city. that intro is motivating.

that beat is so FIRE yet its all synths :damn:
I haven't listened to KP since View from Masada and I play that alot to this day. I'll check this out later.

its worth it and it'll do more than get ya computer putin, sh*t might open a wormhole on your screen.

Not feelin Tonight We Ride that much

I seen someone had put up an edited version without the hook but I love the song and don't see the problem with the hook

"so much cake we drive around in the cool whip.." :dead:

I hope preist gets some decent sales for this .. you can tell he obviously put a lot of hard work and effort into crafting this one which you can totally tell when listening

I might have to buy this CD once a month for the rest of my life just to make sure it goes platinum.

also since youtube plays count on the billboard I'm about to get a firefox extension that changes your I.P. so I can watch "brilliantaire" once a day

I thought Super God was OK until I spun it in the whip today, shyt was so flamey.

I can't get that beat out of my head

Lotus Flower

"it was classic how he took the weed and passed it, dumped the ashes.." :whew:

yo my mind is buggin' on this one, where does the intro to "new reality" come from? Sounds like a cartoon/animation flick?I thought it was fantastic planet but its not..
Sounds like Captain Harlock dub. Could be wrong though.

was thinkin about this all weekend, I know its so familiar.

"and I see galaxies and black holes, its fun.."

Welp...there go your AOTY

to whoever releasing they weedplate this year.

"To give you Visionz....Thats why we write rhymes...thats why we speak on the mic...to give you visionz"

yes def AOTY. first time I ever wrote that acronym but priest deserves all my energy for this new experience.

this might be able of the decade though.

Now we need GZA to step his game back up for Dark Matter

I honestly do not think GZA can surpass this. let's not forget what album b.I.b.l.e. is on.

priest disco >>>> gza

(not countin liquid vs heavy)

i never was a big fan of Killah Priest but i gotta admit this album is crazy

he's spittin like a young Rakim on sum of these joints
:what:

perfectly said.

and I thought life is good was the young god but the priest has spoken :lawd:

this sounds like my thoughts verbatim.

somewhere on the 2nd cd he says "this isn't heavy mental.." and my reaction was :ohlawd: this might be better.

if nas resurrected hip-hop then the priest has given it a new meaning and direction.

I can't comprehend how I was blind sided by this album. it was like those warner bros cartoons but instead of an avil he dropped the history of the universe on me.

Problem Solver :blessed:

this album is the quintessential problem solver. I had some issues I was dealing with before I listened to this on Saturday but these lyrics have ordained me in the religion of positive energy.

its the potency of a chuck D with the calm manuever of rakim. how could financial issues or women have any bearing on me when my soul has entered the state of nobleman.

if I had a twitter I would be passing the collection plate right now.

if I had a facebook I would have exactly 144.000 friends right now.

if I had instagram it would be filled with images collected from the hubble superimposed over the new york skyline.

Gza has a better discog than Priest. Priesthood, view from Masada & stained glass are all duds. I assume the other three I haven't heard are duds too.

Gza has no duds. Even Pro Tools & Legend of the liquid swords have some piff.

Actually, good for Gza. It's his work I'm complementing.

I got no issue with you giving GZA his props. My only issue is with you assuming Killah Priests albums are duds even though you haven't heard them.

Seriously breh, thats like me saying Rakim got a better discography than KRS. Personally I prefer Rakim and have heard all of his albums, but I haven't heard all of KRS' albums, only some of them, so I really cant judge his discography or compare their discographies. See what Im saying
