The way he comes in on Nazareth like "I spit that... purple space shyt" is exactly how Jay comes in on Exhibit C. I think theres a few shots but not all out disses (or at least none i heard). Its more like he stunting on Jay as opposed to dissing.

word. that's another.

I mean a diss is a diss. I agree there not like cannonball shots but I mean a snub is a snub.

jay elec deserved em too for biting priest style. I been sayin this since SOHH and I'm happy people finally catchin on.

I mean how real can this guy be when he came in the game with puff, signed with jay then dropped a song with puff on it. then another song with prodigy.

its like he is trolling the rap game. I listen to his old cd and he throws jabs at radio playing yeezy, jeezy and jim jones but check his twitter and he biggin them all up.

got kanye on songs called illuminati, has his first major promo with pepsi.

meanwhile priest been here putting his career on the line. don't get me wrong, jay elec is nice, he just takes a backseat to KP. and if he never dropped an LP or even a song again I wouldn't care.

This album is just :wow:

:gladbron: Where would yall rank this in his discography?

I'd say second behind Heavy Mental...he's had strong releases like Offering or Black August before, but even those had some weak/bad tracks (hence Black August revisited)...the worst tracks on here are still average KP songs and/or just have an element of the beat or the hook that throw it off a little...out of 40 fukking songs, that's one hell of an accomplishment

I didn't hear one weak track on the LP or one weird hook or beat.

any examples? like off top I'm thinkin first track on 2nd disc but its purposely like a free poetic style and also its an intro.

The hate is a lil bit too strong on this one..

I havent listened to this album yet...so i cant comment on it
But i actually bought all Priests earlier releases...and them shyt were average at best..and he flopped multiple times

I'd rather listen to Jay than Priest..

lol@Priest been here putting his career on the line...how? :what:

Dude is a C-list rapper at best..yes he can spit..but come on..lets not pretend dude got classics

the irony in your post :whew: its gonna take a few to air out.

1) if you haven't listened to the album then how are you participating in this discussion?

2) oh u copped priest albums but then say he flopped :what:

was he supposed to go gold or plat? this one right here shows your demonic side how you count sales as an accolade to boost an LP.

how very NOT hip-hop of you. not surprised though because KP has a whole discography and 500 songs+ where as jay elec got 4 cds and is a brand new character with limited history.

new jack is written all over your post.

3) priest is a "double C list rapper" (sounds like a diss to me) yet you bought his albums? all of them too?

this sounds like a boldfaced lie and a contradiction.

4) KP has no classics? *buzzer sound* WRONG my ngga. even if you think no LP he has is a classic, he has a classic track in hip-hop called b.I.b.l.e.

maybe you've heard of it?

5) if KP is bootleg, what does that make jay elec? is jay a triple F list rapper?

because jay elec bit his whole style and flow.

6) oh you don't know how lyrics put your career on the line?

KP been spittin some of the realest most controversial things where jay elec is all about dressing his lyrics to conformity.

Good point, but I believe it is Exhibit A where he says:

"I spit that Wonderama sh*t
Me and my conglomerates"

Also, on Shadow Landz Priest says (around 0:40):

"Elect... ricity,
Come snowball with the ghostlord"

Jay Electronica (Elect) calls himself the Lord of the Thunder... Must be a snub. BTW, that track (Shadow Landz)... :whew:

My god did Priest create a banger of an album here. Might just be his magnum opus. I can see myself liking this more than Heavy Mental.

SO.... MUCH.... KNOWLEDGE.......:mindblown:

the whole Elec vs KP is an argument on here, they dont have actual beef lol.

id say its his 3rd best, Offering was pretty much flawless to me.

I'm not sure what time portal you walked out of son but lol

lol for real tho your mad late. not only did KP take various snubs throughout the album but let's not forget this is hip-hop where biters are pronounced D.O.A.

your definition of actual beef is not what the soul controller ayatollah was speaking on. this is a spar, a war of words. I don't expect it to leave the realm of subliminals.

nice catch. I will give the album another listen today, I literally gotta make time for it.

I'm sure ill catch more lines on my second play through.

one of my fav lines was when he received a call from the nahine elehvin plane passangers. :whew:

I yelled out when he said that and I scared a buncha white people in hoboken.

I def can see me liking this better than heavy mental. this sh*t is so deep.

:dead: @ the "27 bones" on 1st track on 2nd cd
