they need a better set and to hire a lighting coordinator. Its a little too dark and bland for harlem bruhs to be honest.

It’s looks cheap like they’re doing it off to the side of a small warehouse and they painted some cheap wood and used that as the walls. I get that that can’t have a facility just for this show but these dudes have bread — they can rent a cheap warehouse in Jersey and use it as a “soundstage”.

Get some better lighting and hire someone to shop at Home Goods for decorations or buy some swingman jerseys + frame them since the viewer won’t be able to tell the difference. Then upgrade whatever mics they’re using and position the cameras a little better.

Then in post production, work on some proper color correction, toss some filters over everything so it looks more “film-like” and clean up all that audio/levels. And toss some generic royalty free music under everything or pay some young producer for like 20 instrumentals.

And those little commercials need work as well.

Breh it looks cheap.

You know SAS noticed it when he was there because he’s on sets with robotic cameras.

They could EASILY hit up MKBHD and use his studio because he’s in the tri-state area, has tons of equipment and separate voiceover booth. But if MKBHD is even fukkin with brehs like that is another story because you already know Mase/Cam are alot to deal with and would be clowing everyone at that studio

this was excellent. The contrast between a rapper getting a sponsorship vs an athlete getting one was dope.

I didnt know TO was beefing with him either
A rapper sponsorship opportunity is limited because of the negative aspect of rap music compared to an athlete because of their audience. Cam pretty much admitted that these labels only want Black artist to sell negativity because that sells. These big corporations are not going to invest a good sum of money for someone who may hurt their brand with his/her music even if there a positive or real life message to it.

I think that their set is in Miami, not upstate NY. SAS did their episode when he was in town covering the NBA finals. Also, we don't know what Cam overhead is for the entire show. He has a group that helps but you know that he probably have to pay them along with Mase and Stat Baby. They probably not doing that sh*t for free especially Mase since he has to fly in from San Diego to shoot.
