The whole Lebatard thing pretty much proved exactly what you are saying. The #1 podcast on ESPN right at the point that podcast were becoming ridiculously popular, and moving the needle, and Disney was like “sorry, we don’t have the money for one of your executive producers”, imo knowing full well that Dan was gonna force his way, freeing up more money. The best part about It is what it is, to me, is that Cam, after being pretty private and reserved his whole music career, is so open and comfortable and clearly having fun *pause* I think Mase is the only person that he genuinely enjoys being around *pause*!

Both Cam and Mase have a natural star quality about them too. You can’t manufacture that and ESPN doesn’t have anyone in their fold with that quality outside of Stephen A. it seems (I’m sure there’s a couple of others who may be slipping my mind).yeah alot of these dudes been there for years and were prob making crazy salaries. cam and mase are refreshing even t hough they both almost 50 they resonate with the youth and as well the older crowd. They say it how it is. I mean espn will never touch on that jalen green video, but cam and mase dont give a damn and gave us good laughs.
