you actually made my point (regarding number 2) yes Foles deepball was trash last year ....the difference was 2 years ago when you had Desean..when he overthrew...DJ was fast enough to catch up to it...so that would force safeties to shade a lil deeper. Maybe "hurt" is overstating the fact. But Shady wasnt as amazing as the year prior

No doubt but jason kelce came out and said most teams played single high safety vs the Eagles in 2013, primarily focusing on stopping shady, same as last year.

Chip Kelly can eat a dikk, get this CaC removed from this franchise
Getting rid of fan favorites like nothing cause they ain't yes men. I have watched the Eagles since birth and we have no rings. But I have had great experiences watching our core guys play win or lose and wouldn't change nothing. This s*** is like the 49ers trading Frank Gore. Even Westbrook was allowed to walk freely. Shady was hampered all year with turf toe.
Fact of the matter is we just traded our face of the franchise. I can't wait until Chip's hoe a** takes himself back to college next season.

none of those RB made 7M...Lesean is owed roughly 13M over the next 2 years..Kiko is owed 1.3 M....this has alot to do with money...just like cutting Cole ( potentially)

demeco never was the same after his ACL injury when we picked him up. Hope its not the same with Alonso even tho he is younger at the same point of injury
It is funny watching people try to rationalize trading away your best offensive player for a LB coming off a torn ACL. At the base of this trade that's what it is. 13 mill for a prime RB under 30 ain't a ton of money. You wild if you try to say RBs are a dime a dozen and pretend like LBs aren't just as if not more expendable.
We honestly won't know the impact of this trade for 2+ seasons since an ACL is a 2 year injury (and sometimes lifetime) and if Shady keeps up his performance for the next 2 seasons (I'm imagining he will just out of spite.)

I could understand Trent as his time was almost up anyway. Shady was the face of the Eagles. He is still only 26 years old. To add on he was traded for a player with multiple acl tears who ironically is a "Chip Guy". This queer coach and his hard on for Oregon players is pretty damn shameful. The reality is Chip is a hoe a** coach. Don't be surprised if he runs out by the end of this season. Hopefully if we do anything less than the NFC Championship game the franchise saves face and cans him

If the Bills wanted a RB, this is a RB rich draft, they could have drafted one with fresh legs and not making a ton of cash.

9-11M aint what it used to be, its only like 7-9% of this years cap. I think this was clubhouse/culture more than money. Eagles always manage the cap and had already freed up 18 between Herremans/Cole and Williams
