Last time trading for a running back with mileage on him worked out?

Beast, but that was a couple season difference

im in the market so I catch every Eagles game, he did play timid when some of his linemen were out. but when there was light hes still quick as hell, I didn't see a physical dropoff. this gives the Bills the reliable 20 carry guy they haven't had in a minute. way more durable (and better) than Fred Jackson's ever been.

The question is why did McCoy slip so much last year? Is it the line or is he fading like most rbs do fairly early?

With that said even with an off year just his presence alone and the attention defenses gave to him opened up do much for that offense..

I think its a combo of shyt
1. I think he has a toe issue ...reports claim he was suffering from turf toe during preseason
2. The loss of a deep threat hurt the run game
3. The interior of the offensive line was hurt all the damn time and Todd Herremans play @ guard has slipped over the last 2-3 yrs

Lynch didn't have nearly that type of mileage on him though I dont think

The more I think about this trade, the more I feel the Eagles got the better end of the deal. McCoy does have a lot of mileage on him (nearly has 1,500 carries) and he's gonna be 27 this year. There's a lot of good RB prospects this coming draft. The Eagles will take one and will be straight

Chip Kelly can eat a dikk, get this CaC removed from this franchise :camby:

Getting rid of fan favorites like nothing cause they ain't yes men. I have watched the Eagles since birth and we have no rings. But I have had great experiences watching our core guys play win or lose and wouldn't change nothing. This s*** is like the 49ers trading Frank Gore. Even Westbrook was allowed to walk freely. Shady was hampered all year with turf toe.

Fact of the matter is we just traded our face of the franchise. I can't wait until Chip's hoe a** takes himself back to college next season.

F*** this :pacspit:

I agree with everything except number 2. Did you see how many times foles overthrew maclin last year? The running hsme struggles last year were based solely off the oline injuries and shady dancing.

apparently the Bills were going to move him to OLB this past year, wonder if that's the plan here. they did cut Trent Cole today

Barwin is a monster, and Kendricks is very steady with star potential inside. but Ryans is coming off that achillies tear, so Alonso is either his eventual replacement or the 4th guy at the other outside spot. would be a very good group but you have 2 guys coming off injuries :francis:

Supposedly McCoy is willing to restructure his contract to help with the salary cap
