I was sure before they snapped the ball that a play like that was exactly what they would do. A quick flare out to the RB or TE for an easy first down. That's on Wentz 100% there. Gotta take the easy shyt when its given.

I have more of a problem with not running the ball than Carson not throwing to Wendell. Wendell is open but he isnt in the best position to catch the football, he would have to turn his body. Plus I am not 100% convinced Shaq doesnt prevent the 1st down.
what Carson should have done was gesture to Smallwood and move Shaqs eyes to defending the flat (maybe use a pump fake)- that would have freed Ertz for an easy score
