I heard an interesting rumor that the Wisniewski benching along with the Fletcher Cox restructuring has more to do with protecting Wisniewski from injury or showcasing Seumalo for a trade.

The Wisniewski benching really makes no sense if you dont plan on trading either of them, u extended his contract and he is way better than Seumalo.
