no such thing as getting 'lucky" in round 3:mjlol:
fight just got started
khan won first 2 rounds, and was losing round 3 before:mjlol:

round 4 was :mjlol:

luck rarely happens in boxing

some tried to say marquez got 'lucky" against pacquaio too

how are perfectly timed counter punches on the chin/neck considered lucky:what:

you know how hard it is to do something like that?

does the coli have a problem with counterpunching:jbhmm:

And yet Garcia probably would have lost round 3 if not for the knockdown :rudy:
Seems like you are at least conceding that the fight wasn't really that close prior to the 3rd, I'll accept that.
As far crediting the hook being "lazy". Nah I feel like most boxing fans have watched enough of Khan and Garcia to understand some certain patterns in their careers up until this point. We know Garcia looks bad ALOT in fights , gets outboxed, and somehow stills pulls off wins due to a combination of resiliency, above avg. punching ability, and sometimes suspect scorecards. We also know that Khan has a penchant for being sloppy defensively and having a glass chin. I just think those things coalesced in that particular fight and Garcia got a spectacular knockout in a bout that could have easily been a shut out for Khan.

Swift is a counter puncher who starts off slowly like 99% of counter punchers

Khan won 2 RDS omg hes gonna shut Swift out :gladbron:

Khan was probably going to win the 3rd round :deadrose:

Probably :aicmon: Probably:aicmon:

we jus goin ignore all the Power punches Swift landed friend :heh:

Swift Landed 21 Power Punches in the 3rd Rd...Most before the left Hook... Khan only 14 N they were damn near even in punches landed....Khan Rd tho :francis:

Was there or was there not a change in the 3rd Round BEFORE the "Magic Hook"??

So obviously the counter puncher was figuring it out...how you can even type the words Khan N Shutout :dead:

Gotta watch the punches and notice who's moving more after the punch. By the midway point of round 2 and on Garcia had Khan twisting his whole body from the force of each punch. It just got worse after the knockdown. I left out a lot of Khan's flurries in the first 2 rounds cause they didn't connect with anything but gloves and forearms...Luck had nothing to do with the outcome of this fight.

This idea Swift got lucky is the most retarded casual things I ever heard...

Luck has nothing to do with being patient and knowing how to setup your punches....

What Danny did in that fight is equivalent to a pitcher setting up a hitter with 95mph fastballs and then tossing an 80mph changeup for the strikeout...
good way to put it:ehh:

That one pisses me off the most:scust: it was pound for pound the most perfect counter shot ever in the sport to me...

:mjlol: @ this lucky punch shyt.

Yeah Marquez landing a "lucky" counter straight right and Danny landing a "lucky" left hook. I'm starting to think these nikkas don't even watch the fighters that they talking about.

this fight was a great fight for as long as it lasted- khan was beating swift to the punch initially but swift starting timing him early in the exchanges and then started going to the body. once khan felt those body shots, he started to back up some and not try to get in and out as usual.

i thought it was lucky initially but after watching it again- it was more so showing garcia being able to adjust in-ring than luck. he adjusted the same way vs matthysse, 2 very impressive wins.

That's exactly what I was thinking did Khan in. Garcia adjusted to what was happening while Khan kept trying to go back to the same combos he was landing on punching bags in training. You could see him get more frustrated with each attempt until he looked the ref in the eyes like please stop this shyt. Khan's gotten better since here of course but he better not do anything predictable against Canelo cause that dude hits the same way Garcia does and is naturally bigger.

Khan getting better has nothing to do with him getting perpetually knocked out. If he never tried to throw that stupid right hook, he'd have never gotten that neck shot from Garcia

:banderas: I said Khan would do his load earlier and get KO'd

Once I saw a clip of him doing some sparring in the Wildcard, the footwork just looked so :scusthov:. His footwork in general is :scust: , looks like he is going to fall over his own feet + Willie Limond dumping him on his ass w/ a hook, I knew from that point, he'll always be susceptible to that shot.
