I looked for a higher quality version of this fight to edit down but 480p was the best I could get...After searching for months I decided to just stick with the 480 and edit it down so I could move on and find other classic fights to edit this year. As long as Youtube doesn't shut me down I'm gonna be moving back and editing a bunch down to just the punches landed.

Eerie. Just finished watching this fight 15 minutes ago. Garcia's defense is underrated in this fight.
Yeah, saw a lot of people online say that Garcia had one lucky punch and wanted to edit it down cause every time I watched the fight I was amazed at how Garcia blocked nearly everything. I left all of each exchange in it but a majority of them when Khan threw, he was only landing like one shot while Garcia blocked the rest before throwing a haymaker counter. Garcia put on a nearly perfect performance here that people discounted cause they thought he just had sheer luck on that first knockdown blow.

Agreed. Garcia blocked nearly everything in round 1, especially. He did get a little frustrated in round 2, but he composed himself and went back out and dominated rounds 3 and 4. I tell you one thing, Danny better pray every night to the Lord for the father he gave him. Danny's dad coaches the shyt out of him. Imo, Danny has slightly above average skills, but his dad coaches him up so well that he's able to win fights that he probably wouldn't off sheer talent.

HBO was acting like Garcia was bout to die N Angel was posed to throw in the towel in them first 3 RDS :beli:

Those body shots Swift was landing :banderas:

As soon as the hook connects Khans body goes limp... He ain't even hit the ground yet N Watson Twin is in the air celebrating :dead:
The commentary was funny. Even after Khan got blasted and was still getting blasted...The announcers just waited for Khan to land a few blows and started praising him again while acting like Garcia wasn't doing anything in there. Khan was throwing sparring type punches while Garcia was landing deadly shots nearly every time.

Yeah, Garcia really got lucky in that Peterson fight. If Peterson didn't take off like 4 rounds he would've won that fight easily. I liked what Garcia did in the Guerrero fight though. He was landed nuclear bomb type punches for most of the fight and blocking a majority of the things coming at him. I'm hoping they put him up against whoever wins the Porter/Thurman fight. I think either of those dudes vs Garcia would be an instant classic.

Khan....when he's hurt, he throws wildly hence why he gets caught and laid out. His Defense is straight up offense, and that isn't a good thing when it comes to fighting real fighters.
I'm nervously waiting for that Khan/Alvarez fight. Khan's been begging for Mayweather for years and he's gotta basically repeat what Mayweather did to Alvarez to save face after this fight....I'm pretty sure Alvarez is gonna rock him multiple times or knock him out completely though.

This idea Swift got lucky is the most retarded casual things I ever heard...

Luck has nothing to do with being patient and knowing how to setup your punches....

What Danny did in that fight is equivalent to a pitcher setting up a hitter with 95mph fastballs and then tossing an 80mph changeup for the strikeout...

Thanks for your efforts on this bruh.

:mjlol: @ them looping whiffs from Danny Garcia in the first half of the fight. All it takes is one punch though and that hook landed right on khans neck
shyt was basically a rap from there
RIP to emmanuel steward on the play by play

oh and here are the punch stats for ppl in here saying garcia was blocking everything

http://compuboxonline.com/compubox-stats-garcia-ko-4-khan/

garcia was getting WASHED in them first two rounds before the hook changed everything in the 3rd. give him credit for staying in there and landing that punch but let's not act like it was an even fight before that hook landed. it's BOXING, 1 punch can change a whole fight. that's the reality and takes nothing away from garcia imo

CompuBox – CompuBox Stats: Garcia KO 4 Khan

Garcia landed 24 punches in Rd 3... 21 of them Power punches

The "hook that changed errything" landed at 28 seconds left in the Round....Khan then got 20 seconds to recoup...leaving little time for any more punches to be tallied up

Now going by those numbers before the "Magic Hook" it would seem Swift was having a pretty good round N was landing more N more power punches

But lets jus be lazy N say the Hook changed the fight

It wasn't Swifts timing, body work, or effective counter punching

It was one punch :rudy:

And yet Garcia probably would have lost round 3 if not for the knockdown :rudy:
Seems like you are at least conceding that the fight wasn't really that close prior to the 3rd, I'll accept that.
As far crediting the hook being "lazy". Nah I feel like most boxing fans have watched enough of Khan and Garcia to understand some certain patterns in their careers up until this point. We know Garcia looks bad ALOT in fights , gets outboxed, and somehow stills pulls off wins due to a combination of resiliency, above avg. punching ability, and sometimes suspect scorecards. We also know that Khan has a penchant for being sloppy defensively and having a glass chin. I just think those things coalesced in that particular fight and Garcia got a spectacular knockout in a bout that could have easily been a shut out for Khan.
