Well, it does concern me being that the fight has been scheduled for HBO PPV since September 2015, and being that yall complaining are the SAME ONES who didn't buy a Champion vs Champion Unification Bout on PPV....which caused THAT PPV to flop horribly....it does concern me as to what type of matchups are you looking for on PPV?

First part...not my concern...i'm not a promoter, couldn't care less if the stadium was empty when boxers fight. Not a valid argument imo.

Second part...whilst it might give him a W against a former champion the actual CONTEXT of the W means I and many other people won't respect it.


Third part...fair point, I'd have perfered GGG fought BJS as well so he could come up out of his belt. Actually it probs would've been better because it would've given less oower to oscar to bully him in the negotiation of the fight with Canelo


Fourth part...erm...no that still doesn't concern you jn that regard cos you're not making any money off of it. Where it starts and ends with you is watching the fight and enjoying or hating it. There is however a simple reason you could've shut me down with but you didn't say it so....

The last point is where our opinions divert because i'd prefer him doing a fight on HBO if need be against Billy Joe Saunders than Amir Khan on PPV just so he could get the other belt. Wouldn't the GGG Vs Canelo fight be umpteen times more epic if the victor became the undisputed middleweight champion and THEE man at the division? That in itself should add more hype to the fight if we have to talk dollars

Yeah i know all of this...thats why i said in my last post it would've served GGG better to fight BJS so he had another belt to at least try to combat oscar's negotiation strategy...the lemeuix fight showed all of us he's not a star no matter how much they try to sell him to us and hype him up, so he needs all the ammo he can get ...but we all also know GGG's team is dumb as bricks so

I haven't read through this thread, but this match up (between Canelo and Khan) is about as bad as Morales/Maidana in terms of you thinking one person might actually get killed in the ring type shyt.

That's why boxing is so fukking unpredictable, because nobody thought that fight was going to be competitive at all. Morales damn near won that shyt and didn't look nowhere as bad as Khan did against Algieri.

The ONLY ONLY possible redeeming part of this fight(minus fukkery), is that Canelo has been trying to fight like Floyd a little bit. I never thought Khan would give Floyd problems, b/c I personally think Floyd's quicker (Khan's faster), and would get off first. If Khan has any chance he needs to constantly be on the move and attacking the body almost exclusively (obviously he needs to jab). Also, Khan's footwork is better but the power disparity is too much. Khan can only win if he's consistently sticking and moving--even then he's got the whole chin issue.

Lara blueprint? if Kahn's chin will hold, he has the boxing ability and handspeed to deal some cards. Maybe son will be more durable with the extra weight

To keep it trill, everybody without an agenda knows Ghost fukking sucks and had a bad 2015, but he at least has a track record for making entertaining competitive fights, plus he can take an asswhipping pretty damn good. He wasn't the best opponent, nor was he the worst in regards to Swift facing a welter.

Khan on the other hand is Bambi on ice once he starts catching fades. I can't imagine him hanging in there tough like Ghost did or even making it outta the 1st round without the assistance of medical staff or some shyt.

This is the Lopez fight all over again, but hell at least Lopez earned it.

But realistically, what are the chances 97G's next opponent will be more of a threat than amir khan?......canelo the bigger star but he's also taken way more risks than golovkin. when Is 97G gonna take a risk like canelo did with lara and trout?.....but canelo supposed to let this guy dictate who he fights......talking about billy Joe Saunders will make the fight more interesting ......muthafukker, canelo IS the interest.
