I was thinking that also, but I step back in look at this from a Martial Artist lenses.

I'm not a Conor fan but the Boy have great Will Power

And in a fight like this against The Eagle his Will going to make this a great fight..

The Eagle is a Warrior, Great Grappler he takes people to a place where he breaks their will and spirit

Where was that great will power when he shot in on Diaz looking to get put out of his misery? Where was it in the Floyd fight where he was just about begging the ref to end it? I’d say his will power is his biggest weakness, if anything.

If connor uses his superior boxing and footwork to creat space for that left hand its over. Khabibs striking is really not that good. But his pressure and grappling are top notch. If it goes past 2-3 rds and connor hasnt put him away yet then khabib wins.

I don't even know what a Khabib is but I hate how some stay downplaying the impact of preparation in combat sports...

Is it really that surprising dude looked ordinary against a last minute fill in ?

Last minute implies he had no time to put in prep work for his opponent...

Assuming he never fought that dude before that is the equivalent of going into the fight blind...
