Michael Jordan has never had the most points in nba history you dumbass :mjlol:

MJ is 5th.

This doesn’t tell you who’s an actual better scorer, just who played longer. Lmk how many points Lebron had at the same number of games that Jordan played then get back to me.
If I score the most points, at a more efficient clip that makes me the better scorer. Y'all don't seem to understand how #'s work

That's nice... How many more shots did Jordan have compared to LeBron when LeBron finally passed him?

There is no basketball case for Bron that’s why the majority are not buying it. Bron being the goat is some favorite player of all time type shyt which is kool.
He's a more efficient scorer, better passer, better leader, better defender, more versatile defender, better rebounder, better 3pt shooter, you can make an argument over who's more clutch cause they both have valid cases, LeBron is more athletic, better conditioned, longevity is better.

Jordan has the midrange, and FT over LeBron.. probably about it

None of those things that you listed are relevant to the goat conversation. Many great players put up numbers but what kind of success did those numbers lead to. Did peak Lebron dominate his era better than MJ? When Lebron got his team to the the finals did he close?

All NBA, All Star, most points, more rebounds, etc, etc are all individual accomplishments dummy
Honestly, Lebron will go down has having the greatest NBA career ever. He will still be 2nd as the greatest of all time.

If we do peak for peak, 12 year period. Jordan’s ‘87-‘98 and LeBron’s ‘07-‘18. You can look up the stats and accomplishments. Key accomplishments though, Jordan 10 top three MVP finishes (5 wins). Lebron had 9 with 4 wins. You already know both were cheated several times due to voters fatigue. Jordan 6 rings and 6 FMVPs. James 3/3.

That’s the real argument. Jordan can’t compete with James longevity. James dragged several teams to the finals in a weak east. Jordan had Pippen, Phil and a competent front office to build around them.

Regardless, whatever you think about the eras, Jordan went 6 for 6 without having to leave. Heatles were a great squad that can probably go blow for blow with ‘96-‘98 Bulls. Is it Bron’s fault he had to leave to get that when Bulls built that by getting Rodman and role players?

Jordan had the greatest modern (post ‘79) peak with Bron, MJ, and Bird behind him. Bron has the greatest career.

Last scenario, peak Jordan or peak James. Game 7 of the finals. Who do you want to go to war with?

When MJ decided it was time to 'turn it up a few notches' you had to see it to believe it while it was actually happening. He literally looked like a damn superhero there amongst humans.

That baseline dunk over Ewing is pretty much that.
Breh….I’ve never seen dominance like that on a basketball court before.

Just because those are your arguments for being the GOAT, doesn't make it others. That's the issue, everyone has different criteria for what they think constitutes being the GOAT.

Everything @jaydawg08 said is why Lebron is the GOAT to me. He's the best overall basketball player I've ever seen and did it for 20 years straight.

Jordan didn't go 6 for 6.. because he didn't solely play 6 seasons.

I think you can make an argument for either when it comes peak for peak Game 7.. honestly LeBron is the greatest Game 7/elimination player in NBA history and it isn't particularly close (numbers/eye test/stats all back this up) and it really depends on who you have around you

LeBron doesn't need much because he can be your PG, SG, backup rim protecter, another big for rebounder, wing defender, post defender, etc etc.

Jordan is much more limited

No, that doesn’t mean shyt, Lebron is 6’8 250lb and scores 80% of his points within 3 feet. His shooting percentage outside of that range is atrocious.

Just stop talking bro lol

Lebron has played nearly 500 more games than Jordan. Simple math, if Jordan played as many games as Lebron has, he’d be sitting on 43k points :mjlol: You dumb af

Uhh an entire 20+ years of dominance? An entire decade of "LeBron vs X team in the finals"

Let's keep it real, Jordans competition wasn't as difficult as Lebrons.. not his fault but he simply played in the expansion era and took advantage of the era he was in which was spread thin by an additional 8 teams

Reading is hard so use your fingers if you're having trouble following along.
