I ended up seeing that clip on Instagram, and I had to check here to see what people thought. Like it's been said already, I don't think what he said was wrong, but I get why people might have issues with the delivery. If you're 35 with a kid, that's undoubtedly going to be a deterrent for a lot of men, because many men would rather have their own kid and save the awkwardness (there's no guarantee he's even staying long-term as well). Plus if the child's father in question also has a sketchy past... Yeah, that makes sense, that's a lot to consider and I'm not even in the tax bracket she's aiming for. It's impressive that she's making that much money, that's a major accomplishment, but that doesn't make all those other factors disappear. But that doesn't mean it's impossible for her to find love, it just means all of those things are going to come into play.

Saying that is going to sound a bit harsh though no matter how you phrase it.

The thing is, she could EASILY find love. The issue is she doesn't want a man who isn't making significantly more than her, but any man who makes significantly more than her would have no reason to be with her because they'd have better options. She could find a dude right now making 40 to 50,000 a year that would put up with the whole situation but she feels she's too good for that. That's the thing, he doesn't tear people down at all, all he's doing is pointing out the delusion of both women and men who think they deserve more than what they're getting.

It's like the people who complain about the women/men they attract never seem to think to themselves, maybe I'm attracting this type of person because that's the level I'm actually at. Everyone thinks they should have more, but no one does anything to actually GET more, and then they end up in their mid 30s and 40s upset and lonely.

And women really still don't get that men who earn a lot of money aren't going to give a fukk about their degrees or how much money they earn, because men who are financially stable don't look for women for economic support. So if you're making $200,000 as a woman, it will be attractive to a guy on the poverty line, but for a guy making $200,000 or more himself there's no real benefit if you're not providing all of the other qualties as well.
