Is chemical engineering not good today?I think the transition to digital probably killed his career (which he says a lot) and he couldn't get a proper footing(probably because of) but he doesn't want to admit it.
Also, the biggest thing is his sales style is probably very aggressive and that way of selling has gone to the wayside in a lot of industries. Combine this with the fact that he wants to wear a suit to work and it's not hard to see what happened.
so he did a lot of odd jobs to make ends meet.
Some offer good advice but he stays with same material and talking points whereas it gets boring and repetitive. Kevin more interesting but Lacario is shorter and smoother without those breaks Kevin has.

It’s been a really long time since I listened to him too, but he is one of the few dating coaches that I think gives really good infoAs for Kevin, I got back into his last few videos. He’s been on fire, but I wish he’d just keep the show moving, and quit with the stupid songs and begging for likes and donations. Between that and him not being able to fix his audio issues, it really makes it hard to listen to.

It's because he directs his vitriol at women to a 95% male audience is what allows him to do that. There's a reason his threads is 300+ pages on a 99% male board. Some nikkas like seeing women get flamed.
