Ngl, the shyt is really offensive to me. I worked for this shyt. Didn't fukk bums, never slipped up and got pregnant, several languages, amazing conversational skills, ballet, modeling school, academic camps, the best schools, best internships, best networks, ivy league, maintained my college weight, and these bytches think they can compete?

it's cliche but honestly i think for the younger women especially the internet plays a big part in this. a lot (most i believe for < 30) have used online dating and probably got hit up by relatively HVM, but confuse being put in the rotation with having marriage prospects. its never been easier for young women to have sexual access to HVM hence the inflation of expectations and delusion. what do you think?

This shyt put you in a whole different class. I been fortunate enough to be around people like this because I am one of those dudes who just have a variety of different type friends(and the I know some of them from the gym. A lot of them are cyclist or are into crossfit). They don't fukk around for real for real. Dudes wont even look a chick way if she aint in shape. I try to tell all my homegirls all the time. You not ready for that type of dude. The cars and shyt looks cool but thats a whole different world. They think you can go to Red Rooster or Corner Social to scoop one of those dudes up
In my experience these older dudes just don't want to put other brothers on. They get off on being the only black person in these spaces. I've met plenty of them over the years in IT not sure about other disciplines.Exactly, one of the most frustrating and eye-opening experiences I ever had was when a group of 40-55 year old veteran Black attorneys came to talk to me and my classmates and after telling us about the grit and grind we had to do turned around and asked us "How can we help you, because we are not really sure what we can do given our schedules"I'm like how the fucc you been practicing and navigating Big Law for 20+ years and don't have a replicable set of systems ready to implement and transfer?!
I've had my boys who are Ques and Alphas be consistently underwhelmed by their older frat brothers' inability to help them navigate the corporate environment.

And them nikkas are all poseurs living on credit. We used to live right over there, shameful displays of faux wealth. Im not randomly drawing conclusions, moms is chatty and i be with her, so i get all the business. Suffice it to say, ppl living crazy.

people are trying to blur the lines between a wife and a hoe. If you are selling yourself then do your thjng, but nobody cares about your thoughts on marriage or dating because your role in life is to be a hoe.
outside of that, for men and women you have people putting in demands but not putting in the work to deserve those demands.

This is something that isn’t spoken about. Some of them like the “token” placement and aren’t very open to putting young brehs on.
Instead of pulling each other up like other races do. We watch each other struggle, then once they’ve made it, then we can “associate” with them.

That’s one of the reasons I never gave into the “frat” culture. A lot of us don’t have power in these high level corporate environments. The networking can only go so far.
Kev talked about his business circle moving from job to job together. I’m not sure how likely that is, for all 7 guys to jump from company to company.
Some say joining non-black frats (and educational frats like business school fraternity) are more beneficial for black men

The average black women don't want to compete with other races of women for black men cause they don't think highly of of black men . It really is that simple .
