I keep seeing black women say that they make so much more than black men, but I’m not seeing that anywhere.

Even Kevin said that black men make more than latino men and I have seen that online.

If black women make more, why do I keep seeing articles saying they get paid the lowest?

They move the goalpost to fit their agenda. They use average earnings from lower-skill, entry-level jobs to highlight they make less which black women make up a large percentage of.

But on the other side it is true that the average black womens income has moved closer to the average black mens due to increased higher education rates, and the decline of blue-collar jobs + unemployment that disproportionately affects black men. I'll look for articles and studies later but I'm supposed to be working right now.

The real elephant in the room is the average net worth even for college-educated black women is in the toilet due to student loans even after 5-10 years, CC Debt, luxury car/suv notes, living in luxury apartments, and traveling. It's like they're trying to run the same game alot of ATL guys do to turn heads, role-reversal at its worst.

His analysis insinuates it. For example, he suggests that a Black man being married in corporate America will help him rise like white men who are married. I work in corporate America. For a Black man to rise, it takes having advocates who speak positively of you in rooms you're not in. It takes networking after work with those who are plugged into the internal politics of the company. It takes being visible and making it known what you can do--using LinkedIn to get your name out there and forcing management to see your value. It takes grit. His fantasy of Black men with wife on arm, doing dinner with other couples at the company, as a way to build a Black man's status inside the company is not in line with corporate America as it is, today.

He's thinking of how old white shoe law firms or ancient companies like GE used to operate. Things have changed!

To your second point. It's not about having one foot in and one foot out.

It's about being realistic. Marriage above a certain age is a strategic decision that can make or break a man.

If he's to claim that high value begins at 35, he also needs to clearly articulate that marriage is a strategic decision for those men as well. So, it's not just taking a leap of faith. It's about managing risk.

Because, we all know, as women continue to rise, they are going to manage risk when it comes to marriage! You think women with assets are going to leap into a marriage without managing risk? Men are in for a rude awakening.

I hear what you’re saying, I don’t watch for his take on corporate America so I never looked at it like that.

I think he needs additional therapy. I think his heart is in the right place. But, some of the ways he lashes out at some of the women isn't coming from a constructive place.

Some of their stories clearly trigger him as it relates to his previous experiences and failed marriages.

Which is why I think he should be more transparent about his relationship history up to this point.

Did he initiate the divorces? Did the women leave him? If so, why?

I'm not for shytting on Black women for kicks. Make it constructive. And the only way to do that is to make sure you aren't injecting your own bias in the advice you give them.

I dont agree with the bolded, its counter productive to his message. He always telling callers not to form opinions on the collective based on their own experiences so when would he do the same?

Yep. It doesn't really matter how much money you make per year. When you're over leveraged with tons of debt. And you spend just as much money as you bring in per month.

That's the real reason these women pursue marriage once they hit middle age. They know that debt isn't going anywhere and if anything its getting worse.

I know several chicks who played the field had their fun and bought everything their hearts desired. But when the bill came due. They went out got hitched and had a baby in record time. Husband's had no clue how over leveraged they we're until it was too late.

That’s a fact. Straight masculine black men are always turned away in job interviews.

They usually pick a soft spoken / Carlton / Braxton / alphabet gang type

OR

a BW.

God forbid the woman interviewing you is Black

yeah pretty much want a man to pay off their debt, then get divorced. lol Aint nobody tell your goofy self the rack up 200k in Student loan debt for an Online PHD and then you get all this education to not want to work anymore by age 30. At some point people need to realize that people who say this stuff are not sane and should not be entertained.

Now look, I ain't saying these women are lying about domestic violence or trying to downplay it :whoa: ...

But for a minute there every time Kevin asked why their relationship went south they quickly said, "He was abusive/domestic violence" which after a while became a suspect go-to response, even Kevin picked up on it. It felt like women were jumping on it because it would remove them of any responsibility or having to answer questions about their failed relationships.

Women will get 4 degrees in teaching and will then add dr to their IG handle. You don't need a PHD to teach Kindergarten please lets stop this.

I see why Kevin gets aggressive with these callers because they don't answer truthfully and aren't direct. Kevin has to control the conversation or these women will just keep on talking about nothing. Kevin has to painfully peel back and give these women insights that they don't acheive.

Facts
Most of the women would end up talking in circles and painting themselves as saints, if he didn't cut through the bullshyt and get to the heart of the matter.

How you mean?

I’ve never heard him insinuate this

:jbhmm:
Edit: I read your previous post

I get what you’re saying but that mind set is going into marriage with an eye on the back door.

If that how you (or any man) feels then it don’t sound like they found the right woman

It’s a hard subject. I agree. But it does all come down to picking the right woman.

& the black community needs more marriages to create generational wealth.

The kirk to the fields
underrated dynamic which is only becoming more common and is worth a thread of its own. not every single mother is the result of a deadbeat

I've seen this happen with my own eyes.

And recently, a female relative of mine told me straight up that she wants to have a kid by this dikkhead that keeps cheating on her. She told me that she doesn't care if they stay together. She's determined to have his baby. Is this some kind of psychological issue wtf?

I wanted to choke the shyt out of her.

alot of women are sick breh. I expect the next or gen after of women to have a hatred for millennial, gen x, and early gen Z women for selling them out. If they dont then by that time as far as america is concerned black society would have been destroyed. Black men of mens are not putting up with this stuff and will build elsewhere and the men left behind will essentially be useless canon fodder/sperm banks.
