One thing I never agreed with kevin samuels on was working those 60+ hour work weeks. I said you’ll work yourself into a early grave doing that shyt. You should use your time as effectively as possible but that Red Bull sleep 4 hours a day grind 24/7 will kill you. I also realized this busting my ass in the military.

I learned that from talking to older black men who did nothing but work and provide for their families in the 80s and 90s. Most of them just felt like a walking atm to their wives and even kids. Other than the once a year vacation to Disney world many black men worked and dealt with a lot of bullshyt without much appreciation.

Work smarter, use time effectively, and know what’s the end game for all this work you are doing.

depends on the industry and your end goal. If you work in Investment Banking and are young - busting your ass 1-1.5 years 60 hours a week is easily worth it. It's not even that difficult to do when you have a desk based job where your paid for results.

I’m not advocating being a bum or just working 40 hours a week. I think it’s also quality hours as well. Working 40 hours construction is probably different than being in an office. I do think your 20s is the best time to grind but burnout is real and working smarter is the way to go.

If you have to work 2 jobs or even 3 go ahead but there should be an endgame to it soon. There’s a lot of injured, sick, men that are incapable of working in their mid 40s do to this mentality. Money equals freedom and power. I understand that, but what good is it if you’re dead. Or spending most of it on medical bills or alcohol do to burnout.

Hard to do depending on what job you have. I fukking hated those 60 hour work weeks in accounting. I switched to being a Treasurer and I can't fukking believe the difference. I never work late and it's less work, but I get paid 20k more. I have two full time remote jobs and rarely go over 40 hours a week.

I encourage all black men if they don't open their own business to find a job that pays great with less stress. Brothers out there making all this money and can't enjoy it because they work all the time. fukk that shyt two times!

Cheaters are born way before working age. It has more to do with a sense of scarcity. That's why your most prolific cheaters start in hs/ college.
