I've been saying this for a long time. Too many black men base their manhood on their ability to get women. I recently touched on this in another thread and said too many black men buy into the hypersexual black male stereotype and believe all women want us. A bunch of ni66as got seriously offended by that.

This why no nut November should be no sex November if you’re single
You’d have to focus on other areas of your life

It’s not but I could argue and completely back up the fact that the homosexually latent European misogynistic culture that got funneled down through the Judeo-Christian influence is one of the most psychologically fukked ways of understanding harmony between the genders in both the old and new world. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t romanticize pre-colonial cultures prior to European influence, but their superimposition of rigid Victorian pearl-clutching Madonna/whore bullshyt made whatever issues indigenous cultures and civilizations were going through 100x worse.

Do you know there were literal accounts from Europeans themselves talking about how harmonious shyt was between Native American men and women prior to their influence. That the Natives were evil and backwards b/c they didn’t consolidate power in the hands of one gender and had healthy sexual relationships unconstrained by religious shame. That in these communities everyone took care of children not worrying about whose seed was whose.

Did you know part of the plight of women in the Middle East came from Western interference in those communities?
Or that Europeans were mad that they had to go through both African kings AND queens to steal land from African kingdoms because precolonial kingdoms had healthy understandings of how to maintain patriarchal constructs without having to fukk over women.

The concept of prostitution wasn’t even a thing prior to Western religious influences in a number of cultures.
And now evolutionary biologists are finding that our ancient ancestors were largely egalitarian for the majority of the existence of humanity.

Them mofos from the Caucus mountains fukked a lotta shyt up because their environments were harsh. Instead of taking their fukkery as the be all end all, we need to think in healthier ways when it comes to human sexuality.
Confront the past to contextualize and make sense of the present. Until we do so, we as a world will be stuck in this fukked up cycle of dysfunction. And being black in this fukked up cycle just exacerbates it b/c we get dumb ass color coded engendered ideas from the West too.

It compares the ideas around perceptions of masculinity in the black and white community - big black dikk vs. the big swinging dikks of Wall Street.

:deadrose: Don't nobody got time for that. You forget, he's not a historian, he's an engineer. :pachaha:

You must have missed when he devoted a whole show to breaking down how fairytale feminism was marketed to women to encourage consumerism. It was good. He covers these topics regularly, but its usu just sprinkled in, not the whole meal. :ld:

Link me to that vid :feedme:

And I agree with what he said

I don’t know if I’d say it’s just a black man thing but he spoke facts here :ehh:

This isn't exclusive to black men

i'm saying. Latino brehs don't think with their dikks? :mjlol: Even strippers will tell you Mexicans are low key more thirsty than black or white men.

This also ignores the peer pressure from men AND women on men to get p*ssy which starts early if you black and went to public school in a working class area. dudes was fukking in 7th grade :snoop:

Nah that’s a cop out. He has hours of content. There’s always time. If we don’t have time for it, then the message gets lost and distorted
His audience already complains about the length of the monologues. The message gets lost if no one has the patience to listen. He's speaking to a generation with short attention spans, the same type who miss your gems bc they scroll past your posts. :usure:

I’d argue that in spite of the blk image in the media blk men and blk women are actually not as hypersexual as we think.
:yeshrug:
There’s been studies that show how blk men use protection more than other races of men, are more progressive than men in other communities and how blk girls in college were amongst the least sexually active.
You're missing HIS point bc you're making it about YOUR point. As women, it's not our place to critique the manner in which an elder bm teaches the youngins. Not our lane at all and runs the risk of alienating the audience. That said, a goodly proportion of bm seem to place a lot of personal currency in their dikks. Maybe not the men you/ we know, but maybe bc that's how we select which men to have around. All bw dont have that luxury.

We are a twerking community.
:jbhmm: I wonder about this bc, afaik, my grandmother n nem wasnt twerking. And my grandma used to dance at the Savoy, she was literally being thrown over nikkas shoulders and flipping and shyt. :pachaha: So she was 'outside'. Used to stand on her head at the house well into middle age. Never no twerking. Moms neither.

Is this pro twerk revisionist history? :skip: :patrice:

A large portion of what we consider to be black masculinity now is trauma based behavior. The messenger might rub some the wrong way but the argument is valid and a quick self examination will ground that. In my opinion we as black people have bought into self perpetuating stereotypes way too much and are now so invested in them that some of us actually think these are attributes of our collective consciousness, much to our own detriment. The older males I grew up around as a child had issues with fidelity and commitment but I also saw men that were an integral part of their community through their bonds of shared life experiences and family, the ability to provide and being active in the community. Now it feels as if for some masculinity only serves the purpose of impressing men and women with a Peter Pan syndrome, much to the detriment of those that have to find themselves up under emotionally immature and spiritually stunted people.
