Thinking about it now. I really don’t think “average broke” men should be dating these “high earning” women.

It’s a recipe for disaster. They already think less of men who don’t make a certain amount. Now they have to feel like they have to “settle” with a man who can’t take care of her.

If she thinks low of dudes who aren’t in her income bracket before, she’ll always think that, she just settled because no one else wanted her.

The only dudes who can date women that make more money than them are dudes with real game that don’t need her or her money.

Dudes who aren’t thorough enough will be eaten up alive by these women.

I heard part of it this morning. I gotta finish it. From what I heard, Kevin did sound like he didn’t know what to say to those callers.

Jason’s past criticisms of Kevin have been kinda weak, but it looks like he may have finally got him.

If 50k wasnt enough for a single woman and an upwardly mobile daughter in the 90s, with section 8, I doubt it's enough now.

Some of the numbers jokers are pushing are batshyt insane, especially when you take into consideration Black folks, specifically college educated Black folks are concentrated in high cost of living metros.

Alot of narratives and income benchmarks people are using are way off, and its one thing if you off by 5% but something else when cats are off by 50%.

I am back living in NYC after being away for 12 years, and a lot of working class Black Gen X and older millenials here with Gen Z kids are in for a swift harsh rude awakening with Affirmative Action likely dying within the next couple of years and public sector pensions probably getting hit. Those two factors amongst several others have allowed cats to be way off with their ranges for stability, but the window is closing and it will be interesting to see how cats adapt.

So what’s the minimum every bm should make to not look broke to you?

I dont think its about not looking broke. Its about dealing with a modern reality that goes against our basic human nature. Women by nature want a man that can protect and provide. This will NEVER change no matter how much yall complain. Even if women work full time and accept a man that cannot do it alone, they will still desire their man can provide if needed.

The question folks are trying to avoid and what needs to be asked is how much does a man really need to make to provide a basic middle class life for a small family (wife and 2 kids) in 2021? And the second question is that is a woman desiring a middle class life really that unreasonable of a request? I dont think it is. Nobody actually desires a life of struggle or working class life. People may accept it cause they have to but they don't seek it out. That will never be attractive to a woman. Folks always talk about extremes.. women wanting luxury upper class lives is extreme but lets bring it down to reality and use stats and data like KS says. And lets assume a woman just wants a man to be able to provide a basic middle class life.

If you live in the country somewhere in the south you might be able to hold down a wife and 2 kids in a basic middle class on 80K. But if you are in a mid sized city or major city you will likely need over 100k to achieve this. Based on the data in 2021, the average man making 40k a year cannot provide a middle class life for a family alone. Even 60k brehs cannot provide this solo. So a woman wanting a man that can provide just basic middle class life is stuck looking for the 10% of men making over 100k.

According the KS the average man wants a woman that is fit, feminine, friendly, cooperative, submissive, at least average looks without makeup, childless and a dress size 4 or 5. But If a woman simply says the only qualification she has is that the man be able to provide a middle class life then statistically 90% of men are eliminated off top. But which request above is actually more unreasonable? I don't think just wanting a middle class provider is an unreasonable request but the problem is both request from men and woman would be improbable based on the data and that has more to do with wages not keeping up with inflation. So if a woman is now doing half of a mans job as provider then there will need to be some compromises for the average and above average man. HVM don't have these problems though.

Basically he goes in heavy about KS suggesting black men should be more open to dating white women and the push back he got from callers which branches out into how KS doesn't really have solutions, is making things up as he goes along, and questions what is he really trying to push to the community

KS makes good observations and points but there are clear times where he inputs his own personal biases and beliefs and try make it seem like the norm

An interesting critique Jason has is the weight thing KS goes on about saying BW weight has gone up 30lbs over the past decade or so whereas BM weight has stayed the same, when in fact apparently BM weight has gone up at the same rate.
