He gave the context... Men don't NEED women.. We WANT women
Women actually NEED men
Breh you always been a leveled headed poster!

A lot of women will say things just to try and piss men off.Breh, I saw this shyt online too. Chicks clown dudes online saying they’re broke, but when a dude has money, now they say money isn’t everything, but having character matters more.
Which one fukkin is it??
That’s why I don’t take these chicks serious at all because they always change shyt that fits whatever they want.
nikkas do this too, but who gives af about them.
Some of us were BORN here, and i was raised always doing my own services (hair, mani/ pedi).
My mother was making 50- 60k in the damn 90s and that still wasnt enough for her to confidently get off section 8. And she was right bc the internet bubble did burst soon thereafter and we woulda been fukked. I was in boarding school at the time.
If 50k wasnt enough for a single woman and an upwardly mobile daughter in the 90s, with section 8, I doubt it's enough now.
Same way everybody don't live in ny and cali, everybody dont live in low COL areas either. And those low COL areas are quickly drying up: corporations buying whole neighborhoods, fukking up the real estate markets; wages not keeping up with inflation; supply shortages.
Money is necessary, the more the better. I need bm to understand this. The first generations out of slavery realized it. Even the bedwenches realize it (tho their conclusions are distorted).
MONEY MATTERS. We cannot defend ourselves from predation- in the media, in the courts, in public opinion- without it.
There are women who will stick by you while you grow. Right? How come we don't hear about them more often??
Right. You should never take a chick serious unless she’s down for what you’re down for.Breh, I saw this shyt online too. Chicks clown dudes online saying they’re broke, but when a dude has money, now they say money isn’t everything, but having character matters more.

It was around 30k back then, full scholarship but we still paid for books and activities. Ski boots, riding boots, snow boots, etc, etc. Not to mention all the clothes I needed. Not cute shyt, warm shyt, ll bean, j crew, etc. Dresses for formal events several times a year. It cost a lot, yes, but it was an investment. Moms had three jobs at one point: two full time, one pt.Could the fact that you went to boarding school skew your thoughts on what could is a livable wage? How much did it cost to go?
I believe it.I've heard a lot of stories about how much of a piece of shyt he was from an acquaintance of mine from Harlem who grew up with him.
I dont call ppl broke. And what difference does it make what I think anyway? I'm not the one dealing with them.So what’s the minimum every bm should make to not look broke to you?
60k wasn’t enough in Harlem?! In the 90s?! Now y’all bugging. People have to stop trying to live a LIFESTYLE and except just living LIFE.
Dont be scared to tag me, I'm nice.bro these folks drowning in debt + wanna live like IG escorts. We gotta let these cancers die out.
Mofos grew up on Free Lunch and went to Ralph Tresvant Middle school and talking about lifestyles them nor their ancestors ever lived.
Dont be scared to tag me, I'm nice.
It was enough to floss and make other bp feel bad, yes. Coach bags and shyt. But it was barely adequate to maintain basic parity with my academic peers. A ti-85 alone was like $100. That's just the calculator, still gotta buy the textbooks.
But who's drowning in debt and living like ig escorts tho? Whole paragraphs of subliminals and not a single name.
I mean you said 50k-60k wasn’t much back in the day. So I was just curious on how you felt.It was around 30k back then, full scholarship but we still paid for books and activities. But I definitely wasnt debating a "livable" wage. I missed the original context of why yall were even discussing 60k/ yr in a KS thread in the first place, my bad.
I believe it.

You replied to @delnegro, yes? Who else was in here talking about the COL in Harlem in the 90s?You made this about yourself, my statement was a general one.
It depends on what you trynna do with that 50-60k and where. It wouldnt be enough for MY life tho, no. I'd have to work.I mean you said 50k-60k wasn’t much back in the day. So I was just curious on how you felt.
