It's easier to "hide behind" sounds and such because we all know what it means rather that just blantly calling someone fat. But to answer your question, it is rude, but it's funny.

If you’re gonna be honest about they’re weight, than you might as well be honest about they’re attractiveness too. Some of the women who call in are 3s and 4s and he’s calling them cute and average.

Women as a collective these days look being labeled 'average' a bad thing (aka ugly) so just saying your average is enough imo.

If you get on Tinder in the US, women from all ages and backgrounds lack feminine qualities in their pics. They don’t even take pics like dudes, they just take weird unappealing photos or don’t try. It’s gross.
