They 'saved' America??

TWICE???

:laff:
I'm sorry. I'm starting to get pissed off when I read this bullshyt lies full of hyperbole and no one checking them for it.

Also while Black women made strides they're still en masse behind other women in terms of income and health/obesity rates.

That's why reading these opinions based in feelings or anecdotes frustrate me so much and does a disservice to us because we cannot be truthful to one another. If a loved one can't tell me when I'm fukking up are they really helping me? Why are uncomfortable truths received with so much rancor and venom when someone presents them?

:usure: How do bm respond when bw accuse them, in aggregate, of lagging in wealth?

Nobody likes uncomfortable truths. Thats why they're "uncomfortable." :skip:

Fair point. It's just a bit frustrating. I don't think coddling helps anyone. We're beyond that now now the stakes are too high

:francis: Agreed.

But the women don't realize how urgent it is for them to get themselves together. Lowkey, a nation is built on its women. Why? Bc men perform best when theyre inspired. And we desperately need our men to perform optimally.

she means that they voted for Biden at the highest rate. For some reason they take credit for Trump being put out of office.

not sure what the other occasion they’re referring to, but I’m sure it’s equally as silly

They really believe that stupid shyt they was saying on T.V. they acted like they voted for him dolo. Weren't we above the 90% clip as well!

Never been a "lets chill and do nothing" type of nikka just for the sake of being around you so quality time will always be low. We should be fukking or doing some type of meaningful activity if we hanging out together.

Petty Vandross.. fukk Yall
after talking to my uncle a few minutes ago
He has insomnia too due to Vietnam
I brought up the whole smile debate and we got into a good conversation on that
And it made me realize this is a symptom of a bigger issue
As a kid my mom would take me back to a small town in Arkansas called Gurdon
When I say small I mean one stop light, a Sonic and a Piggly Wiggly(grocery store)small
I vividly remember the gas station on the highway where you could walk to it
Had candy and other treats
All of my cousins and I walked there one day
And the cashier instantly knew who we were
“You Miss Caroline’s kids ain’t you”
Now we all kind of looked at each other on some:ohhh::dwillhuh::jbhmm::patrice:
Replied yes as we paid
And as we were leaving
“Y’all kids be safe alright”
And in unison we said
“Yes ma’am”
And went on about our day
Looking back on that memory my perception is different on that event with the age I have now
See Gurdon was a segregated town
Sure this was 1988 but it still was segregated like many cities are now
The black community was really real then
You had to go to church and sit in those pews for hours
Then after that
Stand around for another additional hour talking to everybody
Kids had a chance to play while the grownups talked gossip and other shyt
But that was community
So when the neighborhood knew everything about everybody
Yeah as a kid you perceived that as nosey muthafukkas in your business
While the adults used that as not only for a source of protection/communication on what their kids where doing when not around
But it was teaching you life lessons and you didn’t even know it
Emmett Till/George Stinney Jr. are just stories to us
My generation and the ones after never had to live that life of Jim Crow
We’ve never felt that gravitas
That weight and pressure of pure racism
I mean drinking from different water fountains, cleaning white peoples homes, mucus spitting and threats to your life constantly if you looked at a white person like they were short racism
Not discounting what we are living through now
But those stories will infuriate you
I say that to say
Black people constantly communicated with each other because it meant our survival and if we didn’t communicate
That could literally end your life
So when hearing these women say
“We are free now”
I truly don’t think they get or know history
Many of our G-Mas/Big Mommas, Aunts, Uncles, Pop-Pops have left this earth
So a lot of the younger generations never heard the stories of strife and survival that happened in the black community
And why it was so important to acknowledge each other
Reading about something is much different than experiencing it personally
Or through the eyes of an old soul
Seeing a mans weathered hands
Seeing your G-Ma cooking a Sunday meal
Actually having to shuck peas from a hull as a kid
Get water from a well
Listening to soul music while old folks shot the shyt and laughed
Seeing men holding doors and women saying “Thank You”
Being told at a cash register
“What do you say back to someone
When they give you something”
What we have now is a shell of a REAL BLACK COMMUNITY
A simple request of a smile back then was nothing
shyt it was just pure based manners
And if you didn’t do it
Muthafukkas would do one of two things
Outcast you and say your parents ain’t shyt for not teaching you manners
Yes that shyt was a reflection on your whole damn family
You were considered a bougie, uppity nikka who looked down on other black folks
So it’s frustrating to hear and read all this shyt about BLACK COMMUNITY
And we all know ain’t no such thing because we can’t even request a fukking smile from our counterparts
Let alone say
“Have a good day”
“Excuse me Miss, I just wanted to say you look beautiful today”
Which again leads to the bigger symptoms plaguing us
We don’t communicate at all or even trust each other
But we are so free to believe others that don’t even look like us
Or have our melanin
Women can safely sit behind a screen writing all kinds of hoe babble, pretentious shyt about men
Knowing nobody will check them and they can get an easy bag off of it
But when shyt gets really real in the field
Now you requesting protection and provision
Sorry ladies it don’t work like that
This is a give and get situation and either
You didn’t learn it from your mothers
Or other women in your family because let’s really be reality
You resent and look down on them
or been taught by your own mothers pent up resentments towards their own mothers and her mothers-mother
That you don’t even see the toxic mess you have made for yourselves
And dudes are no better
The more we hype these subpar women up
Don’t call out bullshyt like saving America twice
Not calling out that bullshyt STRENGTH as just an excuse to have a funky ass attitude
Making you pay for her piss poor mate decisions before you
Because guarantee that STRENGTH will disappear when it all comes crashing down
The beginning of the pandemic showed you that
Being tired of having to do the lion share of the work
While she sits on her ass figuratively and literally
We got to start holding ourselves accountable for this shyt as well
I truly hope strides are made to bridge this gap
At least for my daughters generation
Breh is getting way too much push back
And even on this very forum nikkas are pushing back
Once I saw the fraud(that’s sometimes right)Umar Johnson pushing that coddling message
I knew this fissure could never be fixed
Too many people are comfortable in the Matrix
It’s a lot of bravado/chest puffing for internet likes and bag opportunities
I truly feel people don’t want community
They just want to exist in the realm of them
That’s it
True conversations can’t even be had between the sexes
We all know this and we are just kicking the can down the road
While everybody loads up on our asses and keeps progressing
Yeah it’s very doom and gloom because we are all witnessing the end
In real time
We truly have the power to change it but:francis:
If you read this
Thank you to reading pure thoughts at this ungodly hour

I’m acts of service and I think it’s because I’m so used to doing things on my own that I love when a woman looks out for me and tries to do something for me without asking.

:wow: I was raised like this but i saw where it was going with that "street harassment" :comeon: campaign. I was on a bw forum and i asked them point blank, ":comeon: Ok. Lets say its true, you are being 'harassed' and 'something must be done.' :comeon: What are your recommendations? A fine for saying hello? Arrest? Will those same laws apply to non- black men as well? :coffee:"

They was too shame to answer. :scust:
