All jokes aside, I grew up with a Military Single Dad, so as long as he didn't complain, I didn't give a care About Words of Affirmation--a lot of time he'd use me doing good against my little brother and sister.

Connected to that, I don't even feel comfortable with people giving me compliments (Words of Affirmation) when I get shyt done. I grew up basically doing ever thing from cooking to mowing the lawn to doing laundry--you just did it.

Gifts? :russ: Gifts? :mjlol: My dad stopped celebrating my birthday when I was 8. He didn't celebrate holidays in general, we got Christmas gifts on random years.

I've been a Physical Touch deprived throughout my life--dad wasn't kissing me and shyt. And I'm a creative, so I have a big need to express myself. Check my posts, I can go on and on about shyt I'm interested in--quality time.

I actually have the Singles book and read the main book twice. Over the years, I stopped taking the concepts as serious. I didn't even take the quiz that serious...but, it's on point.

Most peoples’ love language correlates with something they didn't receive as a child.

I grew up spoiled AF, but my parents rarely showed affection through quality time and touch i.e hugging.

If he's read the Monayan Report then he's probably seen statistics showing child abuse / molestion is like 10x-40x higher in single parent households.
