Wrestling fans aren’t enough? :dead:

As long as arenas are being filled, merch is selling, and viewership is steady, the casuals don’t matter. :skip:

Casuals absolutely matter. Ask the NBA if they wanted a Phoenix/Milwaukee Finals. They hemorrhaged ratings compared to the 2019 Finals due to the lack of brand names.

Breh these dudes tripping in here :mjlol:. I want the Dub to succeed on a long term status, but folks thinking that they going to get 5.0s and shyt like this is the 90s.

:mjlol:at Tony Tone going to keep the promotion a float for years to come if it continues to be a money pit.

His dad would clobber the dweeb with all of his Joshi tapes :deadmanny:

:dwillhuh: Who in here is talking about ratings that high? No wrestling program is ever going to hit those numbers again.

As far as it being a money pit......

They’re getting renewed TV deals, their PPV numbers have trended upwards, their merchandise is selling better than ever AND the Khan’s money is waay longer than the McMahon’s. Signing quality talent is light work for these guys.

This. :mjlol: at the Coli Business community deeming AEW a financial failure.

Now Trevor Lawrence added 750 million to the Jaguars bottom line. By himself at that :laff::laff::laff:

I don't have anything to add about Owens. Just wanted to say some of you wrestling fans/marks perpetually show yourselves to be outmanned and outgunned when you try talking about anything except the wrestling business

Just keep the talking points at ratings, who has the most momentum, better roster, etc

People ITT acting like the ultra-rich don't fukk off money on passion projects all the time. Some people have so much money they don't care if they lose some on a passion project.

Happens all the time in the entertainment industry, which is exactly what this is.

I'm putting my tinfoil hat on. I think his friends & him are playing around so they can get him some big $$ from Cokeboy. KO is a family man, and he's going to make sure his family is taken care of. WWE will give him the bag to "prevent" him from going to AEW.

Here's the thing though.... Owens is one guy that really don't have any complaints or shouldn't. Maybe he'd rather just be with some of his old buddies but creative has not failed him..

He reached the level or arguably higher in WWE of what he's worth. Salute to anyone who wanna try something different career wise tho

That whole thing with Jericho in 2017 was fukked up, though. Wouldn't be surprised if Kevin held on to something like that. :manny:
