Last year was the first season he had a high usage %, due because they actually ran plays for him. Before that Darko was getting as much usage as he was.

As far as shot efficiency, he scored 26 points on 19 shots, and that's with shooting 5 threes a game. Inefficient he is not.

His PER was 25.41. Haven't you ever heard of 33% of 3's = 50% of 2's? The 2's he didn't make he made up for from 3 and from the FT line. That explains why his TS% was still pretty good. His eFG could use work, but for him to do that, he'd have to scale back on his 3's even though he's not only good at it, but it's a big part of his game. The FG% he has at worst is offset by Pekovic who was 3rd in the league in FG%.

Love's not your typical big man. Once you come to terms with that, you'll see his numbers differently.

he was looking a little towards the start of the olympics but in the games that really counted he was a monster on the boards and his defense wasn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. He defended Gasol as well as anyone on that team
