Love is seriously a factor figure!!! top 3 PF in the league no question and fantasy sports wise damn near top 2.

Dude who said he is mediocre has to be trolling. either that or dont know his basketball which i can see that being the case real easily as well.

I still think if he ever wants to be on a title contending team he'll need to be the second or third best player on the team. But he is definitely a great player.

I don't know, I think the Mavs laid the blueprint on how to win a title with a player like Love. Not that he's as good as Dirk, but his game is starting to resemble Dirk's when he was younger.

Dude, this is the Olympics. These games are exhibition like games. The competition is nothing like the NBA, the best big man in the Olympics was Gasol and Chandler. How were you impressed with Love grabbing boards over Argentina, French and Nigerian bums. Your starting to sound like the delusional Knick fans who were impressed with Fat Lazy 37pt game against Nigeria. Love is a mediocre player.

I just don't see Love has being as unstoppable or having as deadly of a weapon as Dirk developed on the post. Love to me is a player that will murder you if he's the second best player. But come playoffs I don't see him being as offensively crazy over a 7 game series with the defenses keyed in on him.

Love is still very much a one way player (as far as defense is concerned) but he’s also a hard worker so I wouldnt be surprised if he steps up his defense enough to no longer be a liability on that end.

Those who are completely writing off the international competition as exhibition status are bugging. Imagine the point disparity that a random NBA team would face if they had to play a team with Kobe, Lebron, Melo, CP3, Deron Williams etc. For example, the Bobcats or something. They would get smashed.

The Bobcats are an NBA team though, far above exhibition level. These international teams (in some cases) are top tier talent with top tier coaching. Spain's passing, player movement, and three point shooting was phenomenol. They also played with a ton of passion and solidarity.

Some of these international teams would give NBA teams the business on the court. Don't forget that America missed out on a few gold medal opportunities due to the same arrogance that some of you are displaying.
